you can never beat this ultimate way of wasting time.

ultimate way to waste time
sit by the drain,
have a cigarette hooked in between your fingers,
be totally immerse in the deadly, ghostly smoke surrounding you,
and lastly,
stone together with a equally compatible companion.

That was what peiwen and i saw this evening.
2 lonesome school students doing just that.
obstructing our shortcut back home.

Now, i bet you can't beat them hands down.

i feel sore

i feel so sore
i failed my first driving test
i thought that i could pass on my first
apparently not :(

i'm feeling so darn sore and disappointed
i mean,
look at the number of cars on the road
if they can do it, so can i.
right?

soccer mania

i was awakened from my sleep by roars of cheering.
not in the day
it was at night.

why?
cos Porgutal beat England, France beat Brazil
and disturbed my beauty sleep.

i wanted to watch the match but i had to work early in the morning when most of you are lying in your oh-so-good bed, drooling about soccer and the sunshine shining on your butt :(

what a pity.

i've been living my life like a hermit for the past weeks.
i didn't venture anywhere.
Didn't bother to.

Nevertheless, I do notice that i've kinda neglected some of my friends.
Well, I 'm going through the introvert phase now.
Till I 'survive'this period, so long for now :P

long vacation

i've just received a call my supervisor.
"You don't have to return to work until next Saturday due to upgrading of the system. Tentatively, you will be resuming work on the following Monday. But, that will be decided later."

woww.. what a long vacation.

gotta a new skin. but i'm still figuring how to do adjustments to the fonts.

well, it's been quite some time since i blog.
the peak period in IRAS is finally over :P
now, it's all the payment problems coming in.
hahaa.. been pondering if i should just go on leave for once...

working in IRAS is indeed a very enriching experience for me
i get to talk to many people of different woks of life.
some are filthy rich $$
some can't even pay their tax
some are most gracious and appreciative
some are just idiotic brats(they have alot to learn abt respect)

anyway, i had a great hike today
it was tiring but definitely enjoyable.

i really enjoy my weekly driving session
i like the feeling of being in control of the vehicle and cruising down the streets
it just feels so good

zoo in office

i felt like the animals in zoo today. whereby a whole group of people crowd and look at you do your things.

and the phone system had a error today.
there were like 50 calls per queue

i know i should be sleeping now cos i'll be driving tmr.
sure, i think it's cool to drive on the road; i drove myself home from Ubin test Centre(of cos with instructions from my uncle)
I'm learning manual, so there's the clutch to deal with. If you release your clutch too fast, the engine will die. Too slow, and the vehicle behind will horn (luckily, so far i've not heard any). If you hesitate, you will be performing a drving technique, which my uncle describes as-- a-go-go. The car will jerk in a dancing manner.. haha :)

Maybe i'm a slow learner. I've only learn the basics of driving and i did a U-turn behind my house within 3 lessons.Alas, my father drives an auto, so can't use his car to practice.

Anyway, anyone interested in learning driving, feel free to contact me.
My uncle's a driving instructor. Well, i think his fee is quite reasonable, and relatively cheaper than those in driving schools. He is patient and is open to suggestions. What's more, you will be having a personal teacher who knows your pros and cons. In schools, you may be allocated to different instructors everytime you go for driving lessons, just like joyce's school.

yupe, not feeling all that slacky these past few days.
i've quited my peanut paying guardian job.
Gotten myself a new part-time job as a clinic assistant; interesting anecdotes included
and a new full-time job; dealing with taxes.

i was awakened in the morning by the sound of the doorbell.
i ignored it.
but the person pressing it was determined to wake me up.
when i finally got up, they left...

i peered through the window to my neighbour next door,
there was a bunch of children and their teachers.
in their tiny little hands were mandarin oranges.
the maid came out and she was greeted " GONG XI FA CAI " by the little ones.

i felt abit bad.

and yesterday, my doctor's 2 sons came in as action figures.
one was Batman, black cape and mask included
-i pulled Batman's pointed ears
another was Incredible Man
-he loves to eat 'wan wan'

MAN (immatured ones; pun intended), they are cute :P

who is he?

He must have missed out badly on this childhood. you know, like a child making a scene just to attract the parents' attention.

He really looked like a child in a man's disguise, -minus the freaking grinning and the big head and the flabs...

I don't really understand the need to seek mass attention. It's not getting anywhere, there's like more brickbats than bouquet.

most importantly, i thought he should have at least save us the view of his hairy armpits.

i passed my final theory test. wonder when will my uncle start to give me driving lessons.

Carpe Diem

it's been quite a while since i last update.
well, i don't really think i had a great kickstart this year.
when i read other people's blog, i feel that their days are so much more enriched than mine.
it's not a good thing. i hope i didn't waste alot of my time so far.

my new motto (which i hope to keep to it): Seize the day! Carpe Diem!
so many things to do this year:
learn driving, hope to get my licence by this year
learn jap with peaz
learn a new skill; guitar, tennis, etc.
get a proper job--motive to gain experience, learn something from it and earn money

that's it. get started now!
