Pie making and Thanksgiving!

Note.. this post belongs below the next one.. my mistake, therefore i choose not to fix it..

This year we made pies all by ourselves! Usually we go to Jolenes and make a TON all together but it didn't work out this year so me and the kids whipped up 6 pie crusts, 4 to save for Thanksgiving, and 2 to eat that night! It was fun and super yummy!!

On Thanksgiving day, we had quite the day. To start the day my mom took the kids to see Tangled and Kurt went to play football. For the first year i missed the Turkey Run! It was toooooo cold! Then it came time for dinner at Netso's..First off we were a half hour late to dinner because Jerzi didn't like what she was wearing.. While fighting with her, i burnt the stuffing. Earlier i knocked over the last of the vanilla right before it needed to be put in the chocolate pie. O and Libbi went without a diaper all morning, pooping ALL over the playroom couch! Ok back to dinner.. we finally made it and as Kurt was getting the pies the chocolate pie did a flip.. right into the snow covered road! Wow. What a day! But still a good day! Bowling later that night then shopping at 10pm til 5am. Sleep from 530-830 then back out til noon! Fun times. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Ready for December!!

Thanksgiving at Netso's, turkey bowl, shopping started AND completed all on Black Friday, cut down tree, saw Tangled, put up tree and decorated house while watching BYU loose to Utah 17-16, Elf dropped off ornaments for the year, took pictures for cards, ordered cards, spent lots of fun time together. I'd say this was a successful weekend!! Bring on December and all the festivities! Good Night!!

Makeup!!

For those of you who know me well know that i do not wear much makeup! I wear mascara and the occasional lip gloss. So i don't know what happened but my girls LOVE makeup! Jerzi is putting it on ALL the time! Glitter, mascara and anything else she can find. Well today i found Libbi like this..
..at first it scared me a bit. I wasn't sure what was wrong! Then i was mad, thinking she had gotten into the markers again. (which happens aLOT lately) When i realized it was mascara i couldn't help but laugh my butt off! She really tried, it was all over her face but nowhere else! She knew what she was trying to do :) And i learned to put my mascara away!

Football banquet

Tonight we had a little banquet for Koy's flag football team. In the midst of it all i totally forgot to take pictures!! I'm not superwoman ok. It was way fun. We had it in our basement, and i actually really enjoyed having a party down there! I told Kurt to get me some carpet and paint and i'll host many more parties! We had spaghetti and meatballs for dinner, then the boys all got an award. Koy got Twix with an award that says "Likes to run the Twix plays" All of them got a candy bar that went along with their award it was way cute! Then we watched the highlight film that Chase made for them. It is a favorite 2 years in a row! Koy LOVES it!! Ok i'm tired now so good night :)

The best time of year!

Ha ha! I remember this distinctly. She had asked Santa for something else (can't remember what) and she got a coloring book and crayons from him. Boy was she mad!!! Love you Jerzi girl :)

Baby Boy!!

We went to our targeted ultrasound last week and it's officially a BOY!! I am 20 weeks today. Halfway there! Wow, time flies when you're having fun ;) The heart looked great! No bad news there!! We couldn't be happier with the news. I went and bought some boy football pajamas and had them laying out when Koy got home from school. He says "Yay!" Then in the next breath he says "Is his heart ok?" How sad yet cute is that?? We will keep you posted on any upcoming news with the baby but for now, no news is good news!!

Cousin Craziness!

CHAMPS!!

Koy's flag football team won the championship!! They had so much fun, they won 11 games and lost 0! They scored 361 points and only had 25 points scored against us. Way to go defense!! Kurt and Chase were the coaches, we had a really good team, with way good and supportive parents! Kids never missed a practice, they were on time and ready to go!
They got plaques that say champions! What 7 year old boy wouldn't just eat that up!! They were soooo happy!

Libster was a very supportive cheerleader. She showed up to every game, rain or shine! She was their #1 fan, watching the ENTIRE game :) Thanks Libbi Lou!

What a fun filled day this was! First thing, Koy woke up and got to open a present from his sisters. They gave him this monkey hat! (Which he had wanted for quite some time!)

Then, Grammy stopped by with his favorite breakfast Mcdonalds hashbrowns!!

Off to school he went and we headed over to watch Dixon Homes DIG OUR FIRST HOUSE!!! Woot Woot!

The Tesch family is building right in our neighborhood and Kurt is building it. So fuN! He also has 2 more homes that he will dig in November. So business is good!!

For the playoffs we got them skull sweatbands to wear on their wrists. Kurt and Chase gave them a little talk about being tough and thanking them for doing well and playing together as a team. It was very touching, i wish i would've videoed it.

What a fun year!

Idaho

We took a weekend trip to Idaho to visit the Idaho Spuds. We all jammed into 2 cars and it was quite a ride! Kurt and James were fully entertained with mario kart.

They live right by the Twin Falls Temple, we took a walk over by it.
