Pictures!!

We had this cute girl come take pictures of Libbi when she was only 2 weeks old. She came to our house so we wouldn't have to go out and she even took some of Koy and Jerzi! She did such a great job and was way nice to the kids! If you need pictures done check her out at artwithashley.blogspot.com. These are just a few of them, there are 370 and they are all so cute so I just picked my favorites.

There are more on Libbi's blog if you want to see her!

Koy shoots and scores!

Today Koy played soccer and he had a blast, as always! The best part was that he kicked a goal kick and it went clear down the field into the goal!! The coach told him that was a record kick and Koy thought that was really funny, he kept saying all day, 'it was a record score!' He thought it was great, he was on cloud nine all day and was so proud of himself! I love to see my kids when they do something that makes them proud, it's so cute! He also kicked off and it went straight into the goal, but Kurt informed me later that it wouldn't count as a goal because nobody else touched the ball first. In our world it counted! It's so fun to watch him and to see how happy it makes him! I love it!! (I just learned the rules and terms of soccer tonight so I could post this so he can read it later in life, I never knew what a 'goal kick' was until tonight! Ha ha, I guess you learn alot being a mom!!)

That other guy..

Today we went for a drive up to Eden to visit my mom and when we drove past the 'bear cave' it got my kids talking about the resurection. They learned about it on Easter so they were telling me ALL about it and asking all sorts of questions! It was darling! Koy said 3 funny things that I just had to put down.
*"The Holy Ghost, Jesus and that other guy are magic huh mom?" (that other guy being Heavenly Father i'm assuming)
*"When I'm a missionary I hope I go to Idaho"
and i cannot think of the 3rd one right now, my brain has frozen. I will post it when it comes to me.. Anyway, they went on and on about how Jesus died then was alive again and how the bad guys put nails in him. They really learned alot on Sunday, almost too much! It was really hard to answer questions like 'i thought when you were in heaven you had died, how come Jesus lives in heaven but is alive?' umm... usually I refer them to daddy for those!

No girls allowed??

Ok so last year for Jerzi's party we had an all girl party "no boys allowed" is what she said! It was really fun with lots of princess stuff! Well her birthday is approaching fast (not til June 3 but if you know me, we are already planning!) and i asked her what kind of a party she wanted this year and she said "Well i really want Hudson to come so how about a 'no girl' party?" What?!? She started rambling off the names of all her boy cousins and then finally said.. "ok, how about every body who is my friend can come" I think she realized who'd be missing out on the party .. Abby, Emree, Maggie, Aubree to name a few.. ha ha she makes me laugh! Stay tuned for the party plans!!

Easter fun!

Well since my family is off to church, and Libbi and I are stuck home this afternoon, i figured i'd post some of our Easter fun things we've been doing! Let me start by saying how sad I was this morning because I was too tired to grab my camera and take pics of my kids with their 'easter bunny' stuff. How sad is that? Libbi went to bed at about 11, was up at 3 til 5! Then the kids were up at 6! I wanted to cry, but more so i was sad that I was too tired to enjoy them . They were so cute and funny. They were plotting their getaway from Jerzi's room when we told them they had to stay in there for another hour. Ya right!! We finally gave in and let them come out and see what the bunny had left. Koy got a much needed bike and Jerzi got a Tinkerbell dress up outfit. Libbi got a stuffed bunny that Jerzi eventually stole! Anyway, we love Easter around here, especially the hunts! We've been having our own egg hunts around the house for a month! I finally got up the energy to get the camera out, dress up Libbi (even though she's not going anywhere) and take pictures of their matching outfits!!

The kids colored eggs the other day with Boston and Hudson. Yesterday I took the kids to the South Ogden egg hunt, breakfast, then to the Uintah egg hunt!

On top of all that the kids have colored eggs at Grandma and Grandpa Dixon's and had an egg hunt there too!! I was not there either time so there are no pictures of those.

Also, last night Aubree was baptised. It was such a special night. We are so proud of her but more so we are so proud of Chase and Jana for raising her to be the girl she is today!! They are amazing parents and we look up to them both!! Good job guys! Jerzi loved her hairdo that we did for the baptism so we must post her picture!!

Well I think that wraps it up for now! Tonight we have another family party out at Brock and Whits so more pictures will be coming! We have had a fun week! We've tried to keep Libbi home so we've been trading off who goes where. Thanks to my great hubby, it's been a fun time for the other kiddos!!

Blast from the past.

My friend had a prom flashback on her blog and i'd thought it'd be fun so here we go. This picture was all us girlies at our senior prom. We did have dates but we got rid of them for one last picture of just the girls! The funny thing about this picture is all our sleezy dresses, what were out mothers thinking letting us out of the house?!? Those can't honestly be considered straps? They are invisible! And what's up with the gloves? And my candy necklace? Could i not afford REAL jewelry for my senior prom? WOW!! Of the 12 of us in this picture, 10 of us actually did go to the temple to get married! Who would've thunk it? If Jerzi or Libbi try to wear a dress like any of these pictured i'm pretty sure there daddio will be putting the kabosh on prom! But even worse, if they act like we did, I personally will slap them silly! We were soooo dumb!! We had alot of good times, i just wish we would've been a little smarter! We just went to dinner last night, as we do often. I'm glad we have all kept in touch so well. There was just 5 of us last night and between the 5 of us we counted up 14 kids! If we count everyone in the picture, we'd have 25 kids! (the one girl who i don't know why or how she's in the picture may have kids too but i don't know) How weird is that? Good thing the dads stay home with the kiddos while we go to dinner, that'd be one crazy dinner! Thanks girls for all the good times!

Koys funny things..

I have to post some funny things Koy has said the last few days..

*The 'Easter bunny' called our house the other day (Chase) and when Koy hung up he said "the Easter bunny sounds like Grandpa Head!" (who is my dad, Grandpa Ted, but he has been remaned Grandpa Head by my kids) Ha ha I was laughing so hard, I guess Chase's Easter Bunny voice must sound like my Dad!!

**When Kurt was blessing Libbi on Sunday I was crying and Jerzi whispered 'Mom, why are you crying' and Koy replied in a whisper 'Because of Daddy's talk huh mom?' How priceless! He is so dang cute and sincere to even notice the Daddy was giving a 'talk'.

***Today I was getting Libbi's bandages off of her legs and she was SCREAMING! Koy was helping me get things to calm her down and he said 'Mom I haven't cried in like a month and I am really really close to crying right now!' His little heart was breaking because she was unhappy :( He is my favorite boy in the whole town!! (or world!! but our thing is the town!)

Kindergarten Roundup!

Today we had Kindergarten roundup for Koy. I can't believe I have a child old enough for elementary school :( He is getting so dang big I can't handle it! The grin on his face today was priceless, he is so excited, i'm not sure how we are going to make it until September! We are counting down like this.. Soccer, T ball, Lagoon and swimming, then... Kindergarten starts!! It's going to be a long summer i'm afraid!

This is Koy and his friend Paige after roundup, they got balloons! How fuN!!
On our way into school for his first time! Look at that face :)
