Surprisingly there is not one of the kids bdays in February and there are 13 cousins on Kurts side and 10 on mine! Phew that's alot of kids! Now we can get ready for the March festivities where Kurt will turn 29 on March 4th!! Only 4 more days of being 'older' than him! Sorry but your 3 weeks is almost up (it's his favorite 3 weeks of the year cause i'm older!) My mom will be 51 on March 13, Natalie (friend) #29 on March 9, Sadie (cousin)will celebrate my favorite bday #1 on March 10, my step mom, Janiel, on the 11, Cole (cousin) #9 on March 15 and Aubree(cousin) will be the great #8 on March 18!! Somewhere between the 22nd and 30th little Libbi will grace us with her presence! Then on March 31 Taylor (cousin) will be #15. Wow that only covers 2 months but Happy Happy Birthday to all!! If i forgot (or didn't know) anyone, Happy Birthday to you too!!

Bon Bons!!

I was busily cleaning the house this morning and I was on a roll! I had mopped, well that's really all i had done other than picking up but it felt like ALOT! Anyway, my tv was on and I noticed on Good Things Utah they were making bon bons!! Well if you haven't been reading my blog, I have been wanting bon bons for sometime now and can't find them anywhere! I was soo excited so needless to say I stopped my attempt at cleaning and plopped down to watch. Soon after the show Jerzi and i were off to Walmart to buy the ingredients (yes I know, it's sad that I am that pregnant!) They were pretty easy to make, just need to plan ahead a bit because the cake has to cook then cool, then they have to sit in the freezer for an hour. SOOO yummy though!! They were a bit richer than i expected (not sure what i expected, it is pure chocolate...ha ha..) but they are good! The kids helped me decorate them and we had a good time! Here is the recipe for those of you who want to try them out!! I would maybe suggest NOT using devils food cake AND fudge frosting, that may be where the richness came from? Maybe just chocolate cake and chocolate frosting. Who knows..let me know if you try them!

Ingredients:
1 dark chocolate cake mix (I used devils food cake)
1 (16 oz.) container dark chocolate frosting (I used chocolate fudge frosting)
Chocolate sprinkles, cocoa, cinnamon and powdered sugar(or whatever else you want to roll them in!)
Prepare cake mix according to directions; cool. Crumble cake into large bowl and stir in frosting completely. Form each bon bon into a bite-sized ball and place on parchment lined tray. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least one hour. Let bon bons sit at room temperature until the outside is barely tacky. Roll each ball in your choice of coatings. Enjoy!

Mister? Sister?

Jerzi is so funny lately i can't stop laughing at her! She has a mind of a 3 year old that's for sure! Last night we were talking about how i'm going to teach her sunbeam class today and she says 'Where's Mister Cutler?' which let me back up a bit.. she calls all her teachers Mister, even though they are all women.. I'm not sure why? So anyway she says 'Where's Mister Culter?' and I said she is out out town and she said 'Where's Mister Cutler's sister?' and I was like huh? Who is Mister Cutlers sister? I was really confused. Well then she said 'O silly me, I mean where's Sister Cutler?' She was getting the 'Sister' in the wrong place! Ha ha maybe it is best to not try and teach a 3 year old that teachers at school are 'Misses' and teachers at church are 'Sister' She was REALLY confused..especailly because she thinks they are all 'Mister' anyway!! Wow i can see how her little brain got so mixed up, just reading this confused me!!

Then yesterday she sneezed and needed a tissue but asked for a 'achoo.' I thought it was a mistake so we were all laughing but as the day went on she kept asking for a 'achoo' not a tissue and if you think about it saying i need 'a tissue' sounds a lot like 'achoo!' That is one I probably won't correct for a while, it is way to cute!! She is way fun, I love this age!!

15. DID YOU HAVE A BABY SHOWER? Yes, a few! I actually had one planned for Oct 22 with friends and they ended up just coming to the hospital for the shower cause I had him the night before! That was fun!!

17. DID YOU HAVE ANY COMPLICATIONS DURING YOUR PREGNANCY? Not at all! I used to brag that I should be a serragat because I had such an easy time with 1 and 2.. Not any more!!

18. DID YOUR WATER BREAK? HOW DID YOU KNOW YOU WERE IN LABOR? No my water did not break. I actually had back labor, so I didn't know until i was well into labor because it wasn't your usual 'contractions' labor. Just bad back pains.

20. HOW MANY HOURS WERE YOU IN LABOR? 8 hours, Koy's big noggin got stuck! I was dialated to a 10 for 4 hours!

22. WHO WATCHED YOU GIVE BIRTH? Kurt and Montay and nurses

23. WAS IT NATURAL OR C-SECTION? Natural (I prefer 'vaginal', just for you Rob and Kurt)

We were watching Desperate Housewives tonight and they said your porn name would be your pets first name and then the street you grew up on.. Me and Kurt started doing it and we were laughing soo hard! Mine would be Muffy Willowwood! Kurt never had a pet so he was no fun but some others were.. Sunnee: Show-up Jennifer..Andrea: Fudgy Fillmore.. my mom: Blacky Borg.. Chase: Wrinkles Willowwood!! Ha ha we were laughing all night! What would your name be??

Valentines 2009~

I hope you all have the most wonderful Valentines day! It is such a fun day to celebrate the one you love, or the ones you love! We are going on dates with the kids today and then out to dinner alone tonight! Jerzi wants Kurt to take her to Mcdonalds and then back home to watch the Valentine Wow Wow Wubbzy! Lucky Kurt!! Koy is taking me to a movie he says, but there are none playing that he would like so we may be doing something else.. stay tuned for that. Whatever it is you do today I hope it is great! This is the best day of the year! I LOVE it!!

Movie review..

We went and saw 'He's just not that into you' yesterday for my birthday! Me, Netso, my mom and Sky. It was definately a chic flick!! The cast was amazing and i loved the idea of the movie. Something about it had me a little unsatisfied. It may have been the cheating and lying by the one actor, who I LOVE! I don't want to give to much away because I do recommend you go see it, just leave the boys at home! They would NOT enjoy it, i'm sure. Also, Jennifer Aniston felt it necessary to drop the F bomb one time. I don't get it? Once in the entire movie? And it was so not even necessary. But other that those couple of things it was great! We were laughing and crying. Totally cute and worth the time!! I love GIGI, one of the main characters, who I have never seen before. She was A-dorable! And of course Ben Affleck!! Love him!! I did not think Scarlett was all that hot in the movie, but apparantly she is! Anyway, let me know if you go, I think you'd like it alot!!

My 2 darlings!

So as you read in the last post, Koy is giving me a hard time in the mornings getting dressed! He is not getting better, but worse everyday! AHH! Well, at night Jerzi is the troublesome one. We have a bedtime routine that includes 1. piggyback to bed from dad 2. story 3. thumb war to see who says the prayer (which no matter who wins, she never prays) 4. back scratch 5. lights out

6. yells for mom or dad (whichever one didn't tuck her in) to come give her a love and a kiss

7. needs a drink of water 8. FINALLY good night. Well we are pretty used to her little routine and if we just do it, it really only takes about 10 minutes and she will go to sleep. The other night she was really not wanting to go to sleep and came up with these 'get out of bed' excuses after #8! 'My nose is scratched' 'My back hurts, it needs more scratching' 'my arm is bleeding'(she actually picked a scab and made herself bleed to get out of bed!!) 'my tonsils hurt, i need medicine' (she had tonsils removed in November, so impossible for them to hurt) 'you forgot my piggyback' (which he didn't, she got a piggyback) 'i need a love and a kiss' (how do you say no to that one? Even if it was the 3rd time she got one) and the all to predictable 'i'm hungry, i need a snack!!' If i wasn't laughing so hard at her attempts to get out of bed I would've been screaming!! She would not give up!! It was hilarious! She is a little stinker, but I love her to pieces! Koy is also such a good kid and really gives me no trouble after about 9am when he is FINALLY dressed for the day! I don't know what to do with him, do I let him wear dirty clothes or fight with him EVERY morning over what to wear? I'm almost ready to hide all his clothes and put out one outfit a day for him. He can either wear it or wear his pjs. What's your opinion? I am at a loss with this one.. Kids are so funny, all different in their own way. I'm sure all kids have quirks comparable to these so i'm not complaining, just letting it out for my own sanity!!

Random thoughts.

Today is a bad day. Well not really because everyday is a good day but for some reason today is less than good. My child is a bit OCD and it's driving me crazy! He (Koy) has some issues with what he wears, he changes 4 or 5 times every morning before school, and he doesn't clean up. So i get to look at his room with clothes all over the floor until he gets home, because i refuse to pick up after him! He has shoe issues as well. We just got rid of these white baseball shoes that were seriously worn through to the ground (if that makes sense) and bought him some new ones. I took him with me and after 2 hours of shopping, he finally made a decision. Well today he put on his favorite levis (he only wears one pair) and his new shoes. He comes in and says, i don't like the white on these shoes (the soles) and I said well Koy you picked them out so you better wear them and he says ok but i'm changing my pants! What the crap!! He doesn't have any other pants that he likes!! AHH!! He proceeds to tell me he only likes the new shoes with shorts. Well that's nice, since it's the middle of winter!! Which brings me to my next thought.. what the crap is up with the snow? I am so sick of snow in February, March and even April! It should start in November, end in January. Who made up the seasons? They are seriously mistaken. I got stuck in my driveway today. Couldn't get in, couldn't get out. How annoying!!! My birthday is on Wednesday (YAY!!) and if it is snowing i will cry! I hate the snow!! On a brighter note, Jerzi is in the piano room playing the piano singing, 'good morning to you' and some other made up songs. She is a cutie. She makes me smile. :) Another thing that makes me smile is that the Bachelor is on tonight! I am fully addicted to that show!! I can't even wait. There are 4 left and they take Jason home tonight. It will be a good one, if my tv works. My friend Jaime just informed me that the sats are out cause of snow. I will cry big alligator tears if i don't get to watch tonight!! That's the only thing keeping me going today! I think Naomi will go home tonight..stay tuned to see if i'm right!! Thanks for reading my random thoughts. Girls night, boys night

Tonight the boys went to the gym to play ball so me and Jerzi decided we'd play princesses and paint nails. She wanted to paint mine and then i painted hers. She seriously did so good painting my nails! I was impressed! She would get some on my hand and say 'oopsies' and clean it off. She was so cute, we had a fun time. Just when we were about done, there was a bit of an accident :) We had RED polish all over the floor, her pants and her feet!! Luckily we were in the kitchen so it wasn't to bad but we did have to get rid of her pants! I was sitting right there!! She has painted her nails alone many many times and never spilt but of course because I was right there she spilt tonight. It was fun to spend one on one time together! The boys had fun playing basketball, raquetball and soccer. Now they are home watching the Lakers, waiting for the Jazz. Koy is so funny, he really watches the games and cheers for 'his' team, which is usually the 'other' team! I think it's so funny, him and Kurt will be rivals their whole lives i'm sure!! They love to be together, they are best buds! I hope they will also stay close.

Weber State! Weber State! Great! Great! Great!

Jerzi cheered/danced in the Weber State cheer camp. She performed during half time of the boys basketball game. She loves to do this kind of thing, and was sooo cute!! Her cousins Abby and Emree did it with her. They had a good time! Koy also had a fun time, he was cheering for Weber and every time they scored he would jump up and throw his arms in the air and scream 'YEAH!!' They were funny boys!! (i'm not sure what's up with my camera, some pics say 1/31 and some say 2/1. It was 1/31. Weird??)

Draper temple

We went to see the Draper Temple during it's open house. We were able to take the kids and they loved it. Koy said he wished his house was like the Temple, he thought it was so pretty. We went with our friends the Larsens and their kids. We also took our neighbor girl Jade with us. It was a good time, if you're thinking about going, I highly recommend it!!
