4 Babies
I was wondering how much my children look like each other and this is the one outfit they have all worn. My sister gave it to me right after I found out I was pregnant with Grace before we knew what we were having so the green and yellow worked for either. All of these pictures were taken between birth and 6 weeks. First Austin, then Grace, Blake and Lucy. I will say that none of these pictures is very good of any of them.

Baby Awesome is One Month!
Our baby boy is one month old. It doesn't seem like that long at times but other times it feels like an eternity. The first two weeks were super hard, he has a milk allergy and reflux. But we switched his formula and is is lots better. He does however like to be up at night unless he is in our bed and that is super fun! He is a very sweet baby and we love him lots especially Lucy who calls him her awesome and sometimes she will share him with the rest of us. The picture above was taken on his one month birthday and the ones below start at from birth to a month.

Baby Austin!
Well it's almost been two weeks since our sweet baby Austin joined our family. He weighed in at 7 lbs 5 oz and was 19 inches long. He is a cuddly little boy who would love to be held all day and night! His siblings love him and sometimes forget he is a real baby and not just a toy. We are so happy to have him in our family and we think he is perfect!
Right after being born. The kids get their first peek while he gets his first bath, that he wasn't super happy about.

Pablo the Duck!
So I was pretty much a slacker with my blog this summer and I don't want to go back and blog everything we did but I will do a few things. One of those things was our pet duck Pablo. The Saturday before the 4th of July my mom and I were sitting in my back yard and a mother duck and her 10 babies waddled through. They moved on, but a little later my mom discovered that she had left one of her babies behind. Being the compassionate animal lover that my mom is we quickly became the proud new parents of this baby duck. We found him a box and my parents and the kids bought him some food. Blake was very attentive and moved him back and froth from shade to sun so he was always just right. He hovered over him constantly. My parents were leaving on Tuesday and I really didn't want the responsibility of this duck and it was technically illegal for us to have him so we took him to the DNR. Blake and my mom were super upset. Blake has also asked since if we can go visit him but I have no idea where they took him. I hope they found him a good home!

First Day of School!
Properly title it should say first days of school since they started a week apart, but oh well on formalities. Grace started school two weeks ago and loves it. To the left is her first day of school outfit that she picked, it's so eighties to me but I guess that is what is in style right now. Bring on the acid washed jeans and tight rolling. She loves playing on the playground and doing the monkey bars. This week I got an email from her teacher saying what a wonderful student she is a what a joy she is to have in her class. That makes a mother proud and we are very proud of her!

My sweet handsome boy started kindergarten last week. I can't believe he is that old but he for sure needed something new in his life, since he has gotten so bored being home all the time. I don't know how much he is loving it, he gauges if his days are good or bad depending if he got to go to recess, but he does love riding the bus!
On the first day before they headed off a friend in the neighborhood had a pizza party for all the little afternoon kindergarteners. The first picture is some of the boys enjoying lunch. Top right all the kids getting ready to head to their bus stops. Bottom left getting on the bus. Bottom right at school lining up headed to class. Of course I didn't just let him ride the bus the first day, I followed it up there to get some more pictures.

Happy Birthday Baby Girl!
Last weekend we celebrated Lucy's second birthday. She really isn't into anything particular so I picked her theme. I went with girly pirate because I thought it was cute and none of my kids have had a pirate party. We just had Cameron's family over for dinner and cake and ice cream. After we did got to watch fireworks (I planned just for her party! J/K) complements of the city. We love having her in our family. She is so funny and has the best personality. She loves her sister and her brother, she calls Grace Yay and asks for her first every morning and them asks if daddy is at work. Her new favorite thing is pretending to be a puppy and she crawls around panting, she never barks. She loves babies and has to have all of them in her bed every night and they have to have a blanket. She is such a sweet girl and we love her soooo much! Above is the birthday girl with her party hat.
Blowing out the candles. I don't think she did it by her self but she sure did try.
With her birthday bike.
All the little pirates. Lucy wouldn't put her patch and stuff on so she missed out on the picture.
Smacking her pinata. It took a while to actually get it to break but Preston finally took care of it.

Last day of School and Gymnastics preformance
For Grace's last day of school her teacher has an ice cream party for all the kids and their families. She has done very well in school this year and is really good at math and reading. She has made lots of friends and is our social butterfly. She was so sad about the summer that she cried on the way out of the school because she wasn't ready for summer yet. I hope that enthusiasm continues throughout the rest of her school days! To the left is Grace with her teacher. Keep in mind the pictures were taken with Cameron's phone because I left my camera in the car so they are not super great.
This year Grace decided she was big enough for a boyfriend. They have had a rocky relationship because according to him(I have found letters he writes her) all the boys like her and he wished she liked him best. He is moving in a few weeks so for the last week of school he gave her gifts every day so she will remember him. His name is Sean.
Grace insisted on taking this picture of Cameron and me.
This year Grace also did gymnastics again. I don't really know how much she liked it and I wasn't super thrilled with the gym but it is the only one in town. At the end of the year they did a little performance and she did well and she was most excited about her trophy.

Vegas!
A couple of weeks ago I was able to go away for some girl time with my mother-in-law and sisters-in-law(we missed you Nickie!) We really didn't do much of anything but be lazy and it was fantastic! We laid by the pool, saw a couple of movies, did a tiny bit of shopping and ate lots of yummy food. It was also really nice to get out of the snow and cold for a few days since it never feels like it is going to warm up here! We did also go see the play The Lion King. We had lots of fun and I think I am already in need of another get away. Maybe one of these days it can be Cameron and me.
Getting pedicures.

Field Trip, Graduation and a Picnic
Blake had his last field trip of the year right before school got out for the summer. His class went to the Bean Museum at BYU. He thought it was really fun looking at all the animals that range from lion. and tigers and bears, to really small animals like insects. They have a reptile show where they bring out real animals that they can pet. Blake, Creed and Lucy with the African animals display.
The next week was graduation. The whole class preformed a program they had been working on. Then they recieved their diplomas.
