Over the summer I have been slowly restocking my memory wire bracelets that I make for my fundraising.
Warning there are quite a few photographs but here is a selection of them -
I really enjoy sitting with all my pots of beads coming up with different bead combinations for each one - no two are ever the same.

Blogtoberfest 2014 Day 24 - Stretchy bracelets
I try to have plenty of stocking filler style gifts on my stall when I do my fundraisers and I have found these little stretchy bracelets are inexpensive to make and very popular. I have these all ready to sell at my fundraiser next month.
Since taking these photographs I have already sold both of the skull bracelets - I hope I can get some more of these beads as they have been very popular.

Birthday Bracelet and earrings
For part of Mum's 70th birthday present I made her a new crystal bracelet with matching earrings.
I was so pleased that she really liked them.

Memory wire bracelets
I made some memory wire bracelets to give as gifts to friends on our recent trip to The Netherlands. I really enjoy making these as every bracelet is totally unique and I hope my friends liked them.

June's See It, Pin It, Do It - those pesky Hama Beads again!!
After my big fail last month with trying to make enamel dots from Hama Beads, Fiona came up with an idea to help me use all the unused beads - this lovely braided cuff
I had plenty of memory wire so set about making one - the instructions are lovely & clear and easy to follow - what could go wrong?????
Well here it is -
It looks a lot smaller than the original and this might be because my memory wire is only 55cm. It does fit my wrist as they are quite tiny at just under 6" but it is the most painful and uncomfortable bracelet I have ever worn and this is why -
You end up with these large metal loops gouging chunks out of your flesh!! I started off making dainty tiny loops like those in the instructions but there is one problem, the beads have a large hole and they just shoot straight over the loops and ping everywhere.
I might have another go at making this if I can find some larger diameter memory wire and will also look to see if I can use some spacer beads to act as a stopper so that I only need to turn small loops.
Looks like my niece might end up getting this bracelet as she has really teeny tiny wrists - hopefully she might find it more comfortable to wear!!

Bracelet making again
More memory wire bracelets from me - I just love making them, they are so easy to do and I love how easy they are to wear too - no faffing around trying to do up little clasps and no worries that the elastic may break and ping beads everywhere LOL!!
Most of the bracelets I have made for myself so far are very colourful and I wanted something a bit more neutral this time that would go with dark blues and greys.

I've barely taken it off since I made it, definitely my new favourite bracelet and whilst I had the bead box out I made one for my 'for sale box', I've called it Mermaid's Tears.

See it, Pin it, Do it - March
Time to take part in Fiona's monthly challenge See it, Pin it, Do it or SIPIDI
Another bracelet from me this month, I needed something new to match a top that I will be wearing to a wedding later this month. I had some lovely red, black, grey and crystal beads in my extensive bead stash and took my inspiration from this pin
Instead of just putting the beads on randomly like I usually do, I decided to have a set order like the bracelet above.
I then decided it would be nice to have some matching earrings
If you take part this month, don't forget to link your SIPIDI on Fiona's blog

See it, Pin it, Do it - February
Fiona from Staring at the Sea has started a new blog meme SIPIDI or See it, Pin it, Do it. We all have loads of stuff on our Pinterest boards, so the idea is to actually get inspired by them and then share what you have made.
I have quite a few jewellery pins, especially memory wire bracelets and I needed a new bracelet to wear to a ball to match the pearl necklace and earrings that I would be wearing. I took inspiration from this pin and this one to create this -
Made with freshwater pearls and gold spacer beads
Thanks for setting the challenge Fiona - I am looking forward to actually making some of my other pins.

My Favourite Five Creations of 2013
Debby from A Scrapjourney is once again hosting My Favourite Five Creations of 2013.
I have made so many things in the last year that it is really hard to narrow it down to five, but in the end here are the five are chose -
A beaded hair scrunchie made from a couple of cheap stretchy bracelets
A memory wire bracelet which I wore for the whole of the summer -
Mr P's Valentines card
Mr P's 50th Birthday card
An engagement card for my God-daughter
The challenge is running until 11th January so there is plenty of time to join in and share your favourites from 2013.
