May 2012

Hallie's Track & Field Day, she raced the 200, 400 & did the long jump

Even with a new camera...still blurry!  Kyle, James & Sunny ready to start their day at Iron Man St. George!

Kyle had lots of fans there to cheer him on.

His time wasn't where he wanted it but he finished feeling good and is excited to tackle Iron Man Sedona in  November.  Based on this picture I think it was Isabel who really put in all the work that day :)

This is why when your kids ask if they can go outside and play for a minute before we leave it always best to say "NO!"  Just go sit in the car and stay clean!!

We are attempting gardening this summer.  Here is everyone cleaning out the planter boxes.  We now have stuff growing in them...sort of....we're still getting the hang of it.

Happy Mothers Day to me!!  As part of their present my cute kiddos gave me a pedicure.  It was adorable (and so is Kyle for helping them think of the idea), I am so very blessed.

Mason & Ms. Susan, all done with preschool and SO ready to move on to Kindergarten.

Hallie at her end of year class demonstration.  She worked so hard over the year, it was fun to see her progress.  She gets to start learning to dance on point shoes in September!

Hallie & Mrs. Cropper....can't believe she is going to 5th Grade!!!

Jake and Mrs. Kofoed, he loved his teacher and his class and he now loves to read!  It was fun to see him make so many good friends and learn to love school.

The kids on Mars!!  As an end of school treat we spent a weekend at a hotel just up in Salt Lake.  Kyle and I were wiped out with the stomach flu for most of the weekend but we did manage to make it to the Planetarium and the hotel pool so it wasn't a total loss.

April 2012

These are our April highlights minus our Woodruff Family Reunion in Virginia and Hallie's dance performance.  Those are in a different folder & I haven't tracked them down yet...
We got fish!  We finally eased our way into the pet owning world with some fish and a little frog.

April Fools!!  Kyle & I told the kids on Conference Sunday that we had gotten a call from the Bishop and they had to get dressed and go watch conference at church, we didn't let them in on our joke til they had their shoes on and were walking out the door.  We thought it was hilarious :)

Har!!  On our way to cousin Andrew's pirate birthday party.

Easter

 Happy Birthday to me!!

Ready for work!  This was take your kids to work day, Hallie couldn't go because she had a school field trip but the boys loved getting to go hang out with daddy.  Jake was really mad when they came home in the mid-afternoon instead of at dinner like Kyle usually does.

2-Wheeling!!  After trying and trying to teach Mason to ride without his training wheels I came out one day to find him doing it perfectly all on his own.  It was a very Mason thing to do.

March 2012

The morning sickness continued...that is one of many parts of pregnancy I am so very happy to have behind me.  Isabel got in on the action every once in awhile when she was sick of watching Dora.

Our house finally closed!  Here we are saying goodbye to it and taking some last pics.  We lived there for 5 years and have so many wonderful memories there.  We are glad we didn't move too far away so we can stay in touch with all of our friends and neighbors.

 Some cute random pics...

Kyle is in marketing and has to travel quite a bit for work.  We try to take advantage every once in awhile and make a trip out of it.  Here we are at Downtown Disney in Orland waiting for the midnight showing of Hunger Games.  We also made our kids very jealous by checking out Harry Potter World, Universal Studios & Disney World.

Another field trip!  The picture of Mason on his horse was too blurry to post :(

February 2012

We managed to get some skiing in through the winter.  We mostly did night skiing up at Sundance which made for some super tired kids at the end of the day.  Jake is holding the homework he was trying to get done on our way home.

Although our kids really miss our old house they have found some things to love at our new one.  Like this secret hidey-hole in the master bedroom that is perfect for sleepovers.

Isabel & I went with Mason on most of his pre-school field trips.  On this one we got to go to Krispie Kreme Donuts & the Bean Museum!

Sweet Sisters

January 2012

This was around the time that I stopped blogging entirely (before that I at least tried to update every few months).  The move was tough & I was SO SICK with this pregnancy.  I spent a lot of my time on self-imposed bed rest which Izzie quickly learned to take advantage of.  Here she is polishing off an entire plate of glazed donuts.  Or at least the glaze :)
Todd, Heather & Elli came to visit!  Kyle showed Todd the joys of throwing your kids into foam pits.

December 2011

Jake playing on his first basketball team.

Gingerbread houses with Kim & Angie

Christmas Eve with Grandma & Grandpa Woody

Driving through the golf course lights

Jingle Around the House!!

Matching PJs!!

I made a quilt for my mom out of all of the Christmas PJ pants she has given us over the years

The best part of Christmas...playing with all the new toys all day long!

The big move begins...we packed up the day after Christmas and moved on New Years Eve.  I didn't take any pics of that insanity but I just have to give a big THANKS to the Grays & Lawrences and everyone else who decided the best way to party on New Years was to hang out with us and help us unpack at our new house.  We feel very blessed to have such amazing friends and family.
