June . . .

Quinn and the boys have been doing a lot of fishing lately

. . . I'm sure our neighbors really appreciate us cleaning them in the front yard. ;)

**********

Caleb did football camp again this year and came away with six awards.  (1st place passing, 1st place punting, 2nd place kicking, 2nd place catching, Championship team, and MVP.)

*******

Grammy and Grampy took Liam and Josh on their special "12 yr. old trip" to Branson.  (Even though Liam is already 13, Josh just turned 12 in April)
They did lots of eating (always fun), went to two shows, swam at the resort, hung out at Moonshine beach, went on a duck boat tour, and visited a fish hatchery.  It was a full trip, and those cute boys enjoyed getting to spend some time with Grammy and Grampy WITHOUT their many little brothers and sisters.  It was a special time for them.

*******
Caleb, Luke, and Claire had swim lessons.  It was awesome because they each had their own teacher (one on one lesson), and had their lessons all at the same time (which was so nice)  Caleb and Luke were perfecting strokes, and learning to dive off the blocks, while Claire was learning to . . . not scream when her teacher tried to teach her.

*******
Claire turned "4"!!!!
Can't believe my baby girl is already that big!
She asked for "Rapunzel hair" (she actually called it "Tangled" hair) for her birthday
(little ones are so easy to please)

Here she is at breakfast (yes, cupcakes for breakfast)
and here she is when Grammy and Grampy came over later . . . some sort of fake hair was required for both events.  :)
We didn't have a party for her, but she asked one friend to join us for a picnic dinner at the pool.  It was fun!

*******
We filled the rest of the month with trips to the library . . .
time at the splash pad . . .
and at the pool . . .

Celebrated Father's day . . .

and went the rounds with strep throat . . .

We also had gymnastics, a soccer swim/trophy party, Cub Scout Twilight Camp, Scout camp, and Basketball camp, etc.  But alas, no pictures.

May . . .

Caleb finished up his soccer season.

His team was undefeated and got 1st place in the U-9 division
(they played up . . . they are only 7 and 8yrs. old)

************

Anna -- 8 months old!

********
Caleb had lots of fun playing with the two little turtles we brought home from our cousins' house in Austin.  (Uncle Mike is sure good at finding/catching turtles!)

*********
Field day was super rainy this year.
I got caught in downpours when I went to watch both Caleb and Luke.

********
Claire and I hosted playgroup at the splashpad . . .
where she got to tote this puppy around.  (this was the only picture I took)

*******
We went to visit my sister Taryn, and meet her new baby!!
Scarlett Emma.

She is beautiful.  Here she is just a few days old.  :)

********
Claire "graduated" from pre-school.

She was in the "5 Little Monkeys" skit

After the ceremony they partied and danced to music!

Claire and Miss Shannon (her teacher).  :)

********
Liam had a choir concert.

This was their "pop" concert, so they sang some fun, pop songs.

***************
We couldn't get through the month without a new injury, right?
So here it is . . . Liam fractured his wrist at the first football practice
for 7 on 7 (jr. high summer league).  On the bright side . . . the cast is water proof!

************
We went to the Decker's for our little friend Ali's, 6th birthday.  :)

********
We had dinner and a pool party at our home teacher's house.

*******
Memorial Day

We started our day with our annual ward Memorial Day brunch.  Lots of fun . . . splashpad, sand volleyball, playground, food.  No pictures.  :(

Then we visited Elizabeth's grave, as always on Memorial Day.

Then on to Grammy and Grampy's house for
more swimming and a BBQ, with more family and friends.

Scarlett and Anna

My friend owns a darling children's boutique,
