TAG: I'm it!

This is actually my number 6
I messed up and accidentally put it up here and I don't want to take the time to fix it.

I've been tagged the most embarassing tag (thanks Sabrina), it's called the "Real Life Picture Tag".

The Rules: The rules are you have to take ten pictures of the following things. And you have to do it RIGHT AWAY. No straightening, cleaning or wiping your child's nose. No Cheating

...so here they are, me and my real life pictures.

1. What are your kids doing right now?

Napping. I didn't get a picture of Brooklyn napping because she is a light sleeper and would wake up as soon as I got a toe in.

2. The Kitchen Sink...as is

There has to be a bottle hangin' around, of course.

3. Favorite Room

This is our extra room that we haven't done a single thing with...that's why I love it, we just lounge in it, jump on the beds, store diapers :) and it cleans up nicely when we have company staying over.

4. Self Portrait

5. favorite pair of shoes

I actually don't shoe shop very much, but these are so comfy and so me

6. The Closet

This is my half of the closet anyway
(see the top picture)

7. Laundry Room

It's more like "laundry space" for right now

8. The Pantry

This is one half of the pantry. I couldn't back up enough to fit in our 12 lb. bag of flax seed!

9. The Refrigerator

10. The Bathroom

For some reason, the bathroom wouldn't pull up...darn

Okay, happy that's over!

I guess I'm supposed to tag someone, but I feel mean tagging one this embarrassing...oh well no one really cares right? So, I guess I'll tag Jeni...she has a good sense of humor. You're it!

Go Cougars!

Jason took Brooklyn on a little daddy-daughter date to the BYU game.
She was chanting B-Y-U Coug-a's all day after that and is still chanting it.
This was the game that the Coug's won 59 to 0 against UCLA ...all i can say is
GO COUGARS!!!!!!

Brooklyn and Aunt Amanda

Since the rest of Jason's siblings are still at BYU, we get to meet up with them when we go down.

Daddy and Brooklyn- she had so much fun!

This was Brooklyn hanging out, taking a rest during the tail-gate party.

...and resting again, vertically still. It's all the rest she needs.

Beckam's Blessing Day

My mom and sisters: Yvette, Veronica, me, and Treva
and my neice, Aliah, down below

Jason and his long lost cousin, Ben. It's sadly true, but an amazing and beautiful story. It already seems like we've always known him!

Jason's uncle Mark, cousin Mary, aunt Cynthia, and grandma

Brooklyn wearing her tiara like it's her sunglasses instead.

My fam
Nicholas and Brooklyn
Nick is a second cousin to Brooklyn but look like they could pass for brother and sister

Uncle Mark, Aunt Trish, Sierra, Nicholas, and baby Jaden

This was Brooklyn all day at the brunch- glued to the soccer ball.

This was how it looked behind.

Aunt Rev and B-Kate

Beckam was blessed in the same outfit his daddy was blessed in 28 years ago!

Park City

This is Brooklyn and Monga on the carousel.
I spaced it and didn't take pictures of us going down the Alpine Slide, but my sled was really slow anyway. I had it pressed down full throttle to go as fast as I could and I was just putting down the slope. Jason was racing me on the next slide over just speeding down the hill. He had to stop three times to make sure I was okay and still moving. I really wanted to beat him down the hill- maybe I'll bring my WD-40 next time :)

Beckam was being so good. He was smiling at everyone and tried so hard to talk as he twisted his mouth into all sorts of odd shapes just to get the sounds to come out.

Brooklyn kept making Papa and Monga come sit by her. She would point to one side and say "sit Papa", then point to other side and say "sit Monga". She would pat the little seat next to her until they came to sit down. She also does that to me when she wants me to sit and watch Baby Einstein with her. She was obviously starting to ware Papa out.

Doesn't this picture just bring a smile to your face!

Brooklyn was occupied by a little dog that was standing just outside this picture.

Brooklyn turns 2

The day went well and was a lot of fun. We found Brooklyn a few times over at the next pavillion running up and down along all the tables then swinging at the end of them with her little legs all curled up. She's such a monkey.

The process of making Brooklyn's birthday cake.

She loved to help almost as much as she loved poking her fingers right in the middle of it!

The finished product. Ta-da!
Brooklyn is in love with Baby Einstein and especially the caterpillar that comes out and blinks his eyes before each show starts. She calls the series Caterpillar Einstein instead of Baby Einstein- hence why I decided to make the caterpillar. She loved it.

Thanks to my mother in law for sharing her delicious homemade frosting recipe with me and helping out with everything!

Uncle Tyler, Brooklyn, and Uncle Steele partying

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROOKLYN!!
You are such a precious angel to us. You have completely stolen our hearts, we love you so much! How grateful and immensely happy we are to be your parents. XOXO

Beckam performed a table dance for us.

Brooklyn was shoveling cake and ice cream into her mouth- I guess that was a good sign that she liked it.

She got Angelina Ballerina stuff from Aunt Sue and dressed up in the bracelets and tiara right away.

Hiking

Grandma and Papa came out from California to visit for Brooklyn's birthday party and Beckam's blessing.
They also brought with them the best news of the century- Julie's in remission!!!!!!!!!!
We definitely partied lots over the weekend.

Papa and daddy took Brooklyn hiking. They saw a cougar and some deer...or as Brooklyn would say a "dee-a"

Beckam

BECKAM at 10 weeks old
I couldn't help it but to turn the morning into a photo shoot, he looked so cute!

He is such a happy baby!

He just got his 2 month shots a few days ago and was smiling and giggling at the nurse giving them to him. The nurse was laughing too, but luckily she calmed down BEFORE giving him the shots. Once he realized his pain, he had the saddest little cry- we had lots of snuggles that day!
