Arizona

We went to Arizona this Summer to spend a week at my brother's house.

I traveled with the 3 kids by myself. The 2 oldest were so good! So glad they are getting so easy to travel with!

It was super HOT so we did a lot of swimming in the pool!

We had a glow stick dance party one night, along with night swimming and smore's. It was a blast!!!

We went out to Mexican food...

And we took the kids to see Minions, which they loved!!!

4th of July

Our 4th of July was awesome this year! The firework regulations are way looser here and we got to light all sorts of fireworks off right in our driveway!

The Smith's came over for a BBQ and the kids played in the sprinklers and had a water balloon fight.

 Then we lit fireworks. The littles thought they were a little too loud. They all loved the sparklers. The big boys loved getting their piro on!!!

Grey at 9 Months

Greyson is 9 months old! At 9 months, Greyson weighs 28lbs, 11oz (>99%), is 30 inches tall (93%) and his head circumference is 19 inches around (>99%). He is one big boy!

Greyson loves to eat (he has to be eating if we are!), he loves the water, he loves the sand, he loves being outside, and he loves playing with his big brother and sister. He is still not moving, but has gotten quite good at reaching for things! He loves to grab his toes and roll around on his back. He is pretty much always happy unless he is tired or hungry.

We love you Grey, Grey! Happy 9 Months!!!

Boating in Washington

We love to boat. We have always known that we would one day get a boat. It wasn't super high on our priority list in Colorado since the lakes there are not too close and not that great. But there are gorgeous lakes & rivers everywhere in Washington and they are pretty much right in our backyard. Basically, once we buy a house, a boat is going to be our next purchase.

Lucky for us, we met some friends with a boat (well, it's their Mom's - but still!). And even luckier for us, they took us several times out on their boat with them this Summer. It was so much fun and so beautiful and we had so much good water. We love boating!!!

Visit with Amy in Seattle

One of my best friends from high school, Amy, lives in Seattle (only 3 hours North of us). I finally got my act together and got up to visit her. It was so much fun and way overdue!

We went to the beach, and on a ferry ride and to the Reptile Museum. We also went to Chick Fil A and Cafe Rio, since we do not yet have those restaurants in Vancouver.

We stayed up late and she made me laugh too hard. I love how there's just some people that get you and you can be 100% yourself around. Lucky for me I found 3 of those people in high school!

My Brother's Family Comes for a Visit

In June, my brother's family came to visit. They came to go to an Ed Shereen concert with us. But they brought the kids too and we had lots of fun showing them around the PNW.

We went out to Battleground Lake one day...

We also went to the Oregon coast...
