We are so happy when the outdoor pool opens at the gym! Stella and Quinn love to swim together, but love even more to eat together!

Logan swam 25 meters straight to pass a swim test at the Gym. Now he no longer has to stay right by me in the pool! He was so proud of himself!

Eric did a 1/2 Iron Man in Boulder on Father's Day with Levi...

The kids enjoyed playing at the Boulder Reservoir while we waited for their Daddy's to finish!

Logan participated in a Rock Climbing Camp at our Gym and loved it! Every day he would tell me he climbed higher and higher!

We took the kids to a small Fair by our gym. The kids loved it!

We went to a private lake one day courtesy of one of our friends. The kids didn't want to leave!!!

Santa Cruz

I've been camping at New Brighton Beach in Santa Cruz on Memorial Weekend since I was in 7th grade (with a few years missed for various reasons). This year we were able to go with my whole family. There is nothing quite like camping right by the beach!

As soon as we set up Camp, the kids had to go to the beach!

For some reason Logan is obsessed with holding babies lately. Poor Brea had to deal with Logan holding her all weekend!

We took the kids to this pizza place in downtown Santa Cruz that put a big show on with dancing and flying pizzas. The kids loved it!

Stella did a lot of this whenever she could sneak in a nap. We were constantly going and she was exhausted!

We played at the beach A LOT! The kids loved it. We made Logan and Berkeley into a mermaid and merman...

 Stella was just happy to throw sand!

 We did lots of burying thanks to Papa!

 The kids played chase with the waves and yelled "Na Na Na Boo Boo" (as Auntie taught them to do)...

Stella loves her Uncle Chad!

Every afternoon we would go back to my Sis-in-law's hotel and go swimming in their pool. This day Uncle Chad go dog piled on!

We of course hit up Marianne's ice cream. Stella loved the Strawberry!

On our last night we went to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. The kids were having so much fun that we stayed until 11pm. It was a late night for them but they had a blast!

Stella was so brave and went on rides that none of the other kids would go on!

This race track ride was the best. Stella would giggle every time it sped up on the turn!

On our way home the kids took about 20 minutes to fall asleep - they were so exhausted!

We of course had to make a pit stop in our FAVORITE city!

Sacramento

Back in May, I headed to my hometown for a 2 week visit with the kids. Eric met us there at the end. The kids love going to see Grammy, Papa and Auntie!

As always, we were very busy doing all sorts of fun things. We hit up the Sacramento Zoo...

The kids went with my parents to a ward dance. My Dad snapped these photos of the kids dancing together...too cute!!!

One morning while everyone was working, I took the kids to the Fountains in Roseville. We did the train ride...

We, of course, went to Leatherby's. Logan was THRILLED with his ice cream!

We took the kids to several parks while we were there!

And then my Mom and I took the kids to Funderland. My Mom had to ride all the rides with the kids, because I was told I could not with being pregnant!

 And then we got sticky, gooey, yummy cotton candy at the end!

Thanks for such a good time! We love coming to visit!
