Easter

Logan woke up to a bunch of goodies Easter morning - he was spoiled by the Easter Bunny, as well as his grandparents and auntie.

Logan got a cute new church outfit that he showed off for his Easter egg hunt. He did a great job at finding the eggs - and Rocco helped him find the ones he couldn't!

Logan was thrilled at the end to see all the eggs he got, and he was even more thrilled when he realized there was candy inside!

We finished off Easter by eating a yummy traditional Easter dinner with friends!

2 Years Old...it's here whether we like it or not!

Logan is now the dreaded 2. So far, not so bad...I am hoping it stays that way! He throws the occasional tantrum, which if we ignore, it usually doesn't last long; he has his opinion on just about everything, but usually will still listen to ours; and he pretty much sticks to his toys and doesn't really get into much else (but he makes plenty of a mess with just his toys!).

He recently had his 2 year appointment...and we are happy to be finally done with all those vaccinations! Logan's current stats are...

Height - 37 inches (97%)
Weight - 32 lbs (75%)

We still have one BIG boy on our hands. Supposedly, if you double a kid's height at the age of 2, you will get their height as an adult; that would make Logan 6'2" - I guess he takes after the men in my family and not his Dad!

These days, Logan loves to play with anything that has wheels - trucks, cars, motorcycles, etc. He LOVES to watch TV/videos, especially those involving Dora or Diego! He also loves to have us read books to him. He would literally let us read to him for hours, if we were willing to do so! He loves to be outside, especially if it involves playing with rocks or water! He still doesn't talk a lot, but will mimic a lot words we say now and every once in awhile he will surprise us with a phrase like "it's an airplane" or "want milk" or "let's go."

Logan's 2nd Birthday

We didn't do anything too fancy for Logan's birthday. Eric had the day off and we just did all things that Logan loves to do. We decorated everything with Diego, his favorite...We went and played at the park for a long time...We opened presents throughout the day; his presents mainly consisted of trucks and anything Diego...We went to Macaroni Grill for dinner and then we had cake at home afterward. I attempted to make a cake (this is not one of my strengths), but Logan didn't care. He even tried to blow out the candles...Happy 2nd Birthday Logan! It sure was fun celebrating it with you!!!

Arizona

Last week, Logan and I traveled to Arizona to visit my brother, sis-in-law and niece, Berkeley while Eric was playing in Moab with his dental school buddies. We were too busy having fun playing to take many pictures, but we captured a few at the Phoenix Zoo.

Other than that, we stuffed our faces with lots of yummy food, we got Bahama Buck's a few too many times, we made many stops for drinks at QT, we went to the children's museum, Logan played in the water at the splash pad, we went to the park and we visited the Urgent Care (that wasn't so fun - Logan had a double eye infection and an ear infection).
