Our first and last stop on our road trip was Utah. We visited with Eric's family, ate lots of yummy food, roasted marshmallows, went to a baseball game, swam and went boating. We had so much fun and the time went way too fast!

Road Trip, Part 2 (Sacramento)
Our Next stop was Sacramento to visit my family. Before Eric had to fly back to Denver to work, we got away one morning and went kayaking together. The rest of the time in Sacramento was spent eating, shopping, watching movies and playing games with just the girls - well, Logan and my Dad tagged along some of the time.
Road Trip, Part 3 (Southern California)
We met my brother and sister-in-law and my adorable niece, Berkeley in Southern California one weekend while I was visiting. The first stop we made was Orange County to visit my only living grandparent, Grandpa Bauer. He had never met his two great-grandchildren before and he was so excited to see them. All he wanted to do was hold them, but all the kiddos wanted to do was get down and play. We did manage to get one cute shot with them together...We went to this yummy Mexican restaurant right by the ocean while we were there...We then headed to San Diego to take the lil' munchkins to Sea World. They had so much fun and LOVED all the animals. We went to lots of shows...The kids got to interact with all sorts of sea life...They even got to go on a few rides...And finally, they got to play in the splash park...What lucky kids!!!And here is a little video of Logan and Berkeley playing together...
Road Trip, Part 4 (San Francisco/ 6th Anniversary)
Eric flew back into Sacramento and we went away for a few days to San Francisco to celebrate our six year Anniversary. My parents and sister were so kind to watch Logan and Rocco while we were gone. And it was so nice to have some alone time together! We basically ate our way through San Francisco the whole 2 1/2 days we were there. We made stops at Dragon Well for their chicken chow mien, Tommy's Mexican Restaurant for their delicious cheese enchiladas, Mama's for their Monte Cristos, A16, the donut store on Chestnut Street, Tutti Melon for their pomegranate tart yogurt, and finally but certainly not least, Nick's Crispy Tacos. We also managed to fit in a few activities along the way. We hung out/walked around Chrissy Field...We also rented bikes and biked across the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausilto. Then we took the ferry back over to SF. It was fun to be the "annoying" tourists on the rented bikes!!!We also went to Eric's Dental School and visited with a lot of the faculty/staff/classmates. It was fun to see Eric's name up on a plaque as a past graduate from there...We loved visiting San Francisco...we definitely have left at least a little piece of our hearts there. We love our city by the bay!!!
