Loving the Springtime Weather...

Rocco has been loving the sunny weather these days, as have all of us. Everything is turning green, the trees are blossoming and the sun is shining. It is a welcome change for all of us!

12 Months

Yep, that's right our little baby is ONE!!! At 12 months, Logan's stats are as follows:

Weight - 25 lbs, 9 ounces (80%)

Length - 32 inches (97%)

Head Circumference - 19 inches (92%)

Logan's big accomplishment at 12 months, is that he is now walking with his walker and with the help of us. He can also stand up by himself, but will only do so if something is distracting him. Otherwise, he drops right down to crawl. Here are some pics and a video of him doing his "assisted" walking: Logan is also being a lot more vocal these days, but it mostly consists of whining to tell us what he wants or does not want. He is also completely off formula (Woohoo!!!) and is only drinking whole milk now. He is almost completely weaned from his bottles as well, minus his nighttime feed. He is a complete drool fest these days, but who can blame him when he is getting 5 teeth in, including two molars. He also LOVES us to chase him as we say "I'm gonna get you!" He is such a happy boy and we are so lucky to have him in our lives!!! Here are a few photos I took of him at the park around his 12 month mark:

We Are Building a Home!!!

I have been hesitant to blog about our exciting news until we were fully approved on our loan, but we are building a home. It should be done by September and it will look something like this from the outside(except with a third car garage added)...
We looked at a bunch of communities/floorplans all over Denver, and we feel really good about what we decided to go with. Of course, nothing is set in stone until we are 45 days out from closing, but it is looking more and more like we will be homeowners in a few months. We are so excited! Here we are in front of our lot...

A Little Trip to Phoenix...

Logan and I went to Phoenix to visit my brother, his wife Ashlie and their little girl Berkeley. We had so much fun playing with them for a few days in their warm 90 degree weather. Logan & Berkeley got to play in the water several times to cool off...
They also played at the park and outdoor mall a few times...
We also went to the zoo while we were there...
I got Logan these adorable vans while I was in Phoenix. I am obsessed with his fat kankles in them!!!
I also got to see my sweet friend Rebecca while I was there. It was so good to have some girl time and stay up too late talking. Thanks to everyone for making our trip so much fun!!!

Eric's Family in Town...

Eric's family...his Mom, Dad, little sister Hannah and brother Kyle with his wife Katie and son Kaleb came into town over Logan's birthday to help celebrate with us. We ate lots of yummy food, played with the babies and managed to go do a few things around Colorado. One day we headed down to Colorado Springs and visited Garden of the Gods.

We also went to the zoo on Logan's B-day...

Thanks for coming all the way to Colorado to visit us. We loved having you guys here!!!

Rocco Joining in on the Festivities...

Rocco had to be part of Logan's birthday party too! He got to chew on the ribbon...

And lick up the mess Logan made with his cupcake (and the mess Logan made on himself)...

Logan's Birthday Video...

We have been enjoying our new FLIP camera...I only wish we had gotten one sooner. Here is a video of all the clips from Logan's birthday...

Logan's FIRST Birthday

My little man turned ONE and he got TWO birthday parties...one when my family was here and one when Eric's family was here. And YES, that means he got to have his very own gigantic cupcake TWICE! What a lucky little boy!!!

Logan got a chair just for him for his birthday. He LOVES it - he thinks he is so cool when he is sitting in it. Here are a few of him in it on the morning of his birthday...

We took Logan to the zoo for the first time on his birthday. We had a bit of a sunscreen fiasco at first (it got into his eyes) and then he needed a nap, but when he woke up he really enjoyed it.

Then we partied it up! Here are pictures from both of his parties...

Logan with his cupcake; He did better the second time around!

*Disclaimer - In case you are thinking I am super woman with my party decor, I had A LOT of help from my mom and sister. I could have never done it by myself!!!
