I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas...

and indeed, I got just that!!! All of my family came to Colorado for Christmas...Eric had to work on Christmas Eve day, so my family was kind enough to all travel here so we could spend the Holiday together. Luckily, no snow came until after they arrived. I am not a huge fan of the snow, but there was something magical about it at Christmas! One night we got a babysitter and ventured out to dinner and bowling with no kiddos in tow...so nice to just have some adult time!By the time we left bowling it had started snowing outside...One night we went to the capitol to check out the lights...Another night we went to see the lights at the botanical gardens...We spent a lot of time just eating, playing games and hanging out...We went and swam at the rec center in their 92 degree pool one day. The kiddos absolutely loved it, but we forgot the camera - so no pictures. The girls worked on a craft and here is the result (my sister came across the idea on Etsy and we figure we could make it ourselves!)...We opened a bunch of gifts from family on Christmas Eve...Rocco watched patiently at first as the babies were opening their presents...Then he started tearing the pile of wrapping paper apart(we helped burry him)...And then we made him pose for this adorable photo(we got the idea from a Christmas card)...We tried to get some pictures of the babies before they went to bed, but they were tired and weren't cooperating(notice the ADORABLE Uggs my sister got Logan for Christmas)...So, then we re-attempted the photo shoot in the morning. It turned out a little better...We went through all our goodies in our stockings from Santa on Christmas morning. Logan really scored well...The adults got to go through their stockings after the babies without any interruptions. The babies were so entertained with all their new toys!
Logan loved his new horsey from Grandma and Grandpa Wood. Berkeley and him took turns on it. Logan thinks he is so cool every time he rides it!We had a big Christmas dinner that night with YUMMY prime rib. I got to use the china I inherited from my Grandma for the second time...And finally, we went up to the red rocks by our house and took some family photos. We had to go two evenings in a row, because we went too late the first night and it got dark on us.Thank you, Thank you to all my family for coming all this way to share Christmas with us. We loved having you here and enjoyed a very merry Christmas with you!
