A Little Girl Time...

Regan, Jocelyn and Kara came up to Denver the other day for a visit. We went out and ate yummy food, did a little shopping, ate some birthday cake (Happy Birthday to Regan!), and then went and saw "The September Issue." I didn't know how I would feel about a documentary, but it was really good! Thanks girls for such a fun day. We definitely have to do it again sooner than later!P.S.-Here are some ADORABLE photos of Jocelyn and Regan with their bellies!

Colorado State Fair

Labor Day Weekend, Brady and Jocelyn invited us to the State Fair down in Pueblo. Of course, we had to go - who can pass up fatty fried food and amazing people watching??? Thanks Smiths! I think we may have to hit you up on this one every year!

Our New Place...

Well, it has only taken me two months to finally post some pics of our new house (that we are renting). In my defense, we just hung up the last few items. So here it is: Our not so beautiful backyard. But hey, it is completely functional for Rocco with grass and a fence. It sure beats taking him out on his leash every time he needed to go to the bathroom. Now we just let him outside. Our Kitchen...I love the extra cupboard room and pantry, the new appliances and the fact that the cupboards are not falling apart. I want to cook so much more now.Our family room and decor. Our entry way and 1/2 bathroom on the main level. I love not having to go upstairs every time I need to use the restroom. It is also so nice to have a bathroom accessible to visitors that are over. The guest bedroom and bathroom (in the basement). It is so nice to have a separate area for guests when they come to stay with us. Logan's bedroom and bathroom. Logan has the perfect kid closet - when I saw it I knew it had to be his room. He also has his very own bathroom. It is actually really nice to have; since he is the only one that uses it I can bathe him directly in the bathtub without it being gross. Our Bedroom/Bathroom/Closet. Our bedroom has a his AND her closet; the her closet being a walk-in closet. I LOVE my closet; although Eric has managed to get some of his stuff in it, as well. I also LOVE my vanity. Well, there it is. We love living here. I think everyone should live in San Francisco and pay OUTRAGEOUS rent for a tiny, old apartment - then you can really appreciate anywhere else you will live!

Logan is 5 Months

I can't believe another month has flown by - my baby is growing up and it is making me so sad! This past month, I have really noticed how much Logan has grown out of the newborn stage. I look at him and just realize how old he is acting. He is very aware of his surroundings now; he interacts so much more; he moves around a lot more - it is just crazy! The big boy weighs in now at 21 lbs. We had to upgrade to a convertible car seat. It is a lot more inconvenient (no sun shade, no bar for toys, and no bringing him into places in his car seat). But when the car seat is tipping over on turns, safety takes precedence! Here are some pictures of the boy in his big boy car seat. With not being able to bring Logan's car seat along on errands, we quickly discovered he is now big enough to sit in high chairs at restaurants and in the grocery carts as well. Of course, I quickly got a grocery cart/high chair cover! I finally got some pictures of Logan in his jumperoo...and a video too! He has finally figured out the whole jumping thing and just goes crazy in it!
Logan finally fits into his vans Eric bought him awhile back. We got some pictures of him in his "thugged-out outfit," as Eric calls it.Logan still loves his baths. We give him one every night before bed.Other things Logan is doing right now - He rolls from his back to belly anytime you put him down on a blanket, but he only will roll to the right. When he feels like it, he will sometimes roll back over, from his belly to his back. He is grabbing at everything - wrappers, silverware, cups, etc. It is getting kind of hard to eat if he is around. He is chatting up a storm and has discovered he can scream as well. His mommy doesn't like this so much. When he is sleepy, he gets really giggly. He can sit up on his own if he balances himself by leaning way forward, but he can only do it briefly. He really doesn't like it when he can't see anyone - especially if he sees you and then you walk out of his sight. I did his five month photo shoot in Sacramento, with the help of my mom and sister. Here are the results:
We love you Logan! Happy 5 Month Birthday!!!
