Colorado Here We Come!

Many of you may have heard through the grapevine, but Eric and I are MOVING to DENVER, COLORADO. Eric has taken a postion with Comfort Dental. He will start shadowing on July 15th and then will start on August 1st. We are excited to start this new chapter of our lives! We packed all the stuff we will need for the next month into our car and the rest we packed into pods on Saturday. We are visiting family in Sacramento right now; then we will head to Utah to visit family. Our final destination will be Denver. We are just planning on finding a place to live once we get there, BUT we are so excited for the prospect of renting a HOUSE with a backyard, storage space and a second bathroom! We are really excited to have all the amenities provided by living near a big citybut also having this at our back door! We invite everyone to come visit us; we will have a guestroom AND bathroom waiting!

Wicked, I would see it a hundred times over!

I went and saw WICKED again last night - this time I went with my hubby! I just couldn't leave San Francisco without seeing it! It was so fabulous; even the second time. I got chills again during it! If you haven't seen this play, you have to go!

Graduation

Last Sunday Eric graduated from UOP Dental School. I am so proud of my hubby! It has been a LONG road, and it seems crazy that it is over. All of our family came into town to share in the event. Thanks you to everyone for all the time and money you put into coming! Here are a few pics from the ceremony:Chad hooding Eric:And of course, it was boring like every graduation ceremony. Here is everyone falling asleep:And here are all the pictures from afterwards:

Thanks-a-Bunch Brunch

Saturday morning we went to a brunch that was held for all the people that helped the graduating dental students along. They each had an opportunity to thank someone for all they did...and of course, it was me Eric thanked! He,he! But hey, five years of working full-time to put my husband through school; I think I deserved it!

Alumni Banquet

The first event of Eric's graduation weekend was the Alumni banquet on Friday night. This is where they invite the graduating dentists into the Alumni and awards are given out to the students. It was a black tie event, which made it super fun to get really dressed up!The event was held at the Ritz Carlton - Beautiful!
The fancy dinner and awards ceremony was in the ballroom. After the dinner, we got everyone together for a group shot! And best of all, we got to get down and boogy at the end of the night! And when we got home we got to snuggle with Logan - hmmm YUMMY!And finally, a special shout out to Auntie Rashelle for watching Logan and doing my hair!

Family in Town

For Eric's graduation and Logan's baby blessing we were able to have almost our entire family in town. It was awesome! We did have some spare time to enjoy some of the city with them. Saturday night we went to a Giant's game - they were playing the A's and they won. AND it was a beautiful night - it was the perfect last game to go to!Sunday night we went to Benihanna's with everyone after Eric's graduation (it was the only place that we could find that would accommodate 16 people without being ridiculously priced). The only picture I got at dinner was of Logan - he was mesmerized by the chef as we was doing his magic on the grill!Eric's family got to stay a few days after graduation. On Monday we headed out to Bean Hollow State Beach (thanks Loni for the recommendation!). The tide was starting to come back in, but we still found a lot of cool stuff in the tide pools! The only problem is we got soaked right before we were about to leave!Monday afternoon we took the trolley across town and then took the other line back. It was a very "touristy" thing to do, but we had to do it at least once!Monday night we went and got Choppino - well, at least some of us did. I, on the other hand, had pizza - BUT lost my appetite as I smelt all the seafood around me!Tuesday we went to Nick's Tacos (probably for the last time) with Eric's brother, Kyle and his wife, Katie. Then, we headed over to Alamo Square Park. Three years of living here and I still didn't have a picture in front of the "Full House" Houses. I can now check that off my list!Thank you to everyone for coming out and visiting us - it was a blast!
