Baby Shower with the Gals...

Last night my cute friends threw me a baby shower. The decorations were adorable and the food was super yummy! I got so many darling gifts! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I love these girls - I can't believe we are all moving away from each other in just a few short months!

2 CUTE!

My friend wanted some baby photos of Eric and I for the recent baby shower. My mother-in-law sent me this photo of Eric when he was a newborn. I pray we have a little baby boy that is just as delicious as Eric is in this photo!

I finally bought one...

At work the other night, I was discussing with a co-worker, who is due 2 days before me, what things we had gotten and what things we still needed for the baby. As I was telling her we still didn't have a car seat, it occurred to me how stupid I had been for not getting one sooner. With 35 weeks approaching in a few days (this is the cut off at my hospital for babies not being "automatically" admitted to the NICU), I would probably be able to bring home my baby with me if he was born in a few days. BUT... I would have no car seat to bring him home in. Long story short, I finally ordered a car seat and it should be here in the next week. I really struggled with which one to order. I was limited in my choices to only Peg Perego, Graco and Max Cosi car seats, because these are the ones that will be compatible with the stroller I am getting. I also wanted something that was pretty gender-neutral and also not cheesy looking. I FINALLY decided on this one and I can't wait for it to come!

A LONG Time Ago...

My friend Amy sent me this photo that her brother-in-law came across. I believe this picture was taken a year after we graduated high school; which would make it 8 years old, CRAZY! These are most of my best friends from Sacramento and the picture was taken in Santa Cruz (we have been going there every year on Memorial weekend since 7th grade). It is weird to see how young we all look, but it is even weirder to think about all that has happened since this photo was taken - one mission completed, six college degrees finished, five marriages, and seven kids born with four on the way!

Some friends introduced me to Etsy awhile back and I have gotten quite a few ADORABLE things for the baby boy to be! Today I found this little treasure for myself and I can't wait for it to come in the mail!

I have wanted some brown cowboy boots for awhile. I came across these Frye boots and I think I am in love. Now, I just need to convince my husband they are worth $350, any suggestions???

Eric Passed...

Hooray, Eric passed the second part to his written dental boards. I am soooooo relieved and proud of him! Now, he just has to get through the practical boards in May - I am going to be the biggest stress case then! And just because I think posts are boring without pictures, here is one of Eric in action during a hospital rotation.

32 Weeks

Well, the pregnancy is rolling along wonderfully! These "every four week" pictures seem to be coming up faster and faster. Things are still going fairly well, but I am starting to get more and more uncomfortable. I wake up every few hours at night, I am constantly hot, and I always have to pee. Still, I hate to complain. I know my pregnancy has been a breeze compared to some. I have started noticing some slight swelling in my hands, but I am still able to wear my rings and I can still fit into all my shoes. I know the next eight weeks are going to be the most uncomfortable by far - but it makes it all worth it to know I am going to have a healthy baby soon! I have been trying to take nights off work when they have been overstaffed and I go on maternity leave in 3 1/2 weeks. It seems so unreal to me that I am going to actually have a baby in 7 1/2 weeks, SO CRAZY!

Rocco, the Skateboarder!

Rocco has once again started showing interest in the skateboard. He isn't fabulous at it, but he will get on and scoot himself a little bit with his leg. It is hilarious to watch!
