First week of work in Dange Saint Romian, France..

It is the 1st Friday since I started working here...things at work went smoothly and productively this week. Everyone at work is really nice and friendly. I never expected what would be like in the real workplace. I have heard many complaints from so many friends who do NOT like their workplaces and colleagues..At least this week I know I am lucky to be in this workplace :) I like the building I am working at; everything is new and trendy. The interior is decorated with nice bright orange, green, red colors with trendy furniture. Labs are new and clean. Conference and meeting rooms are named like bacteria...Lactobacillus..blah blah blah.. The most exciting about this place is that we have a coffee break room with a big coffee making machine which can make a variety of coffee. It can make caffe macchiato, latte, espresso, cappuccino, cocoa...I love this machine!

As for the first week, there are deadlines for several tasks waiting for me already. I am required to accomplish the first task before going to the second and so on...Industry is like that..deadline is the most important. Everything needs to move fast!

I have enjoyed coffee break at 10 am (10h00) everyday at work. Basically, people will stop by for coffee and chat about anything for 15-30 minutes depending on their schedules. Also, somebody may bring any fresh yummi pastries or cookies to share...

For lunch, we have a cafeteria on site. Menu is changed everyday. Lunch here is very cheap since the company subsidizes more than half of the price, so we end up paying only 4 euros. For lunch, we can choose appetizer, salad, fruit, cheese, dessert, and of course main course...lot of food! At the end of the meal, somebody from the group will serve coffee around the table. Another exciting and impressive thing about this workplace is that people who are working in the same team will go for lunch together. We call each other to go for lunch, to sit and eat together (of course, it depends of the schedule as well, somebody who is running experiment or having a conference may not be able to come at the same time as others)...Is that cool and fun??

Gotta wake up so early again this Saturday and went to the tutoring. Andrea, my tutee is such a nice boy...haha...just wanna laugh out loud about what I tutored him..guess...last week I tutored him for English but this week I gotta tutor him for Computer Engineering man...I had no idea about that but I just tried to go over his text with him to answer his assigned questions. Basicly, he just didn't wanna read the text coz it was too much but all the answers were from the text!!...It was so funny when he told me he had no English HW but computer engineering. I was gonna cry and wanna ask for help from Apple who is studying com science, but I just couldn't do that since they assigned me to be with him and help him until the end no matter what subjects your tutee asks you to help. Well...I had tried my best and I did a good job :) and I have learned that I shouldn't be freak out once I face whatever I've never met before but I should challenge myself and try to do my best. It might be better than running away from the problem without trying to solve even part of it...At least keep in mind that you'll get partial marks for writing down something rather than leaving it blank, if you are lucky enough what you do might be the right way to solve the problem even though you are unsure if it's the right way to solve it...

Went to see HITCH on sunday night...such a funny movie. Was planning to see this movie for so long coz Will Smith is in it :) Yeah...finally!!!! Just laughed and laughed all the time. What he is trying to do as a love doctor in the movie is such a wonderful thing -- Creating the ways how people would be able to express their feelings to others to achieve their love. So basicly, you can't just match people if they don't have any feelings toward each other. Or you can say at least they must have something in their minds and wanna express out to their lovers but the problem with them is sometimes they don't know how to....yeah..they need help, they need better ideas so they would be able to meet the love success....

It's kind of hard to express what you have in mind to others...it's like when we listen to the prof. giving the lecture and we don't understand what he is trying to teach....it doesn't mean he doesn't know his stuff, actually he knows but he just doesn't know how to teach coz he didn't take course to be a teacher. Yeah...in this case, experiences are the helper and they are also the helper for your love situation.....

"Carling Cup 2005 Championship", Chelsea's first trophy...brings all the laugh and smile for everyone. (can you see my little Cole?---he is the first guy from the left who has the cutest smile in the world :)) Posted by Hello

Woo..Hoo...Time to laugh, smile, cry, be carzy and get drunk with other Chelsea's fanclubs....Chelsea's first trophy of this year.."Carling Cup" They performed terrifically on the game on Sunday Feb 27th. Beat Liverpool with the scores of 3-2. My little Cole got a chance to be on the field in this important game but not that long..I am not really sure what Mourinho is thinking about this incredible guy. I think Cole has been trying to keep himself up and improve himself about what his coach has told him to do...anyway..I can just say that he is a part of this success. Two more guys who I always insist that they are one of the most terrific players ever are John Terry and Gerrard. They never gonna disappoint their fanclubs. Chelsea has occupied the top of the table of every league for quite a while with HEARTS remained big, MINDS remained strong and SKILL remained high. It's not just Abramovich's money but all the squads' hearts that have a strong ambition to bring Chelsea to the highest peak and reach these trophies to collect in the Stamford Bridge.

Way to go Chelsea. A few more trophies are waiting for you to occupy. A few bottles of Champagne are waiting for you to open. And a few millions of fanclubs are waiting for you to bring them a big smile :) One of them is ME!!!

Didn't feel anything about reading week at all...wasn't even enough for me :(

Long Wednesday came again...Chem Lab from 9am to 1pm then had 2 hrs to review for inorganic chem test. Didn't wanna talk about it since didn't do well but just questioned myself that was studying so hard for the test but have never done well on this course tests at all...Let's try harder for the final then! Still went to physical chem lecture 4-5 after the test. Got off from Bio Lab 30 mins earlier so just went straight to AC. Time to work out now...spent 1:30 hrs there and felt so good afterward :P Just wanna keep being fit and healthy. Came back and called my brother coz was his 18th B-day. Really long talk with him..Yes, basicly done for this week...

Oh time for Japanese Buffet again....just went out to celebrate for Apple's last term test...so full, everyone seemed enjoy it eapecially Mike who had never been there. Steph did a good job on her Salmon Sashimi too. Haha..don't have to mention about Ryan, this guy always eat a lot but he works out hard though..it's good in a way that he never gonna get fat or who knows. I tried my best since kind of already ordered something. Then we all faced the most surprising thing...we all accidentally met 'the girl next door' and her BF. What a small world..huh! But who cares....

Saturday afternoon...went to the Auto show with Ryan and Oak. Saw so many cute, ugly, interesting and expensive cars. Unfortunately missed my SLR McLaren since it's incredibly expensive (USD 458,500) but the SLK55 (USD 61,940) and SL65 (USD 183,540) were there instead and got a chance to take pictures with them :) Well...hope that my dream comes true one day with my McLaren...hehe...it's a day that I win Lottery man :P So tiring walking over the place..good work out but kind of enough of the cars.

Buffet again but luckily..decided not to go to Japanese but Korean BBQ on Queen's since was Lilly's B-day...we all were so full again. Thanks a lot Lilly for inviting us and treating us...you shouldn't have to. Tried not to eat much..it doesn't mean like you spend lots of energy and you have to eat more coz I just feel like we still have some extra more energy storage inside so no need to take more orelse we'll be saving excess energy even more than enough.

Yeah...finally it's READING WEEK....and also A WEEK OF LOVE :P well...didn't do anything much. wasn't productive at all and was supposed to READ and study for midterm after this week but just tried to do so in the library for a few days after the ski trip...so, good that kind of be able to get some work done. Valentine's day....this year was great since had 'someone' to spend time with and really enjoyed that night wiht 'that person'...taking me to such a nice authentic japanese restaurant and all the meaningful presents incredibly impressed me :) Got a chance to stop by Daman's house...took her and Anna out for midnight dinner at Eastside Marriott. Just couldn't eat anymore.

Ski trip at Dockmar Resort, same place as last year was fun. Got to try snowboarding for the first time. Took the lesson for the beginners and it was so cool...really liked it..kind of catch up pretty fast even the number of times of my falling were uncountable! but what's the matter....went up to try the blue zone (harder) after the green zone too. Eventually, all of us were so tired when got back and ended up eating a lot. Korean Hot Pot was suddenly gone by 9 of us. No one said anything while eating...

Unexpected thing happened at our apartment since 'the girl next door' started it first...OMG...you never knew that she would be like that...MONEY can change people and people can change themselves. Just couldn't stand watching Apple let her tears down through her cheeks...gotta do something but that girl just still being stupid, rude, and aggressive. Well..just didn't wanna talk about it anymore. Trying to keep my mind in peace. So basicly, not only got hurt physically from snowboarding but also got hurt mentally from this stupid stuff...Ya...eventually, it was my turn to let my tears down and let everything explose out from my mind to Mr. Listener again. Thanks a lot Mr. Listener...You are always there when I want :)
Since it happened, I have leaned that you have to get to know people as much as you can before deciding to do something meaningful with that person. Orelse you will be getting nothing back but disappointing and disappointing...You can't jugde people from how they look, that's for sure and how they look doesn't tell you how truly they are.

Still so painful from the ski trip, couldn't even walk properly and just couldn't take it out from my mind since you never expected to happen.
