Musical Monday: Birthday

So, the Small Girl is three today. We have had a weekend filled with balloons, princesses, dancing and food. I'll tell you all about it when I've recovered (though admittedly I am less tired than I was this time three years ago. I think...)

Musical Monday: Eat It Don't Tweet It

I know this has been around for a while, but it's still merits sharing. What did you photograph in the weekend?

Musical Monday: Girl In Stilettos

Yesterday it stopped raining and the sun came out, and I bumped into lots of people I knew at the Jamoff and although my jam wasn't the winner on the day it was all good fun. What did you get up to?

Musical Monday: The Banana Boat Song

I have had bananas on the brain lately - reasons for which I will reveal tomorrow - and this song going around and around my head. I'm hoping putting it here will exorcise it from my brain...

Musical Monday: What Else Is There?

This is what got me across the finish line yesterday. Here's what you do: run 19km. Untangle headphones while continuing to run. Ignore the pain in your legs. Push play. How was your weekend?

Musical Monday: Call Me

Tonight I'm hosting an event with New Zealand chef, author and all-round good bloke Al Brown. I have a morbid fear that I'm going to introduce him to the audience as Al Green - keep your fingers crossed for me that I don't get them confused...

A postscript: Al Brown was great. I didn't get his name wrong, but I didn't fall off the stage or make any faux pas. I may have forgotten to introduce myself, but that's a small matter in the grand scheme of things, isn't it?
