". . . after the Bar"

Kyle was in Columbus this week for the three-day Ohio bar exam. All was going well until his computer crashed during the final day of the exam. Bummer.

Kirsten and Brooklyn have endured three bar exams (PA, NJ, OH) in seven months and are happy Kyle has finally had enough bar exam stress to take a break. Brooklyn has probably been exposed to more practice MBE questions, law lectures, and silly legal hypotheticals than any infant her age.

Kyle now has at least a few weeks to get caught up on his long list of "after the Bar" tasks before he starts clerking for a local judge.

Kirsten can't wait for Kyle's imminent deep-cleaning of the entire house which he undertook as post-bar exam recovery last July. Hmmm, maybe another bar exam wouldn't be so bad!

We are Alive and Well

It's been several weeks since we posted a blog and the last one showed pictures of Kirsten as a patient in the hospital. If any of you have worried, know that we are well, but busy. Kirsten took a short medical leave before our Christmas Family Reunion trip to California and returned to work on Dec. 31. She's taking medicine for her heart and the medicine appears to be working fairly well, though it makes her tired. Kyle is getting ready for yet another bar exam (Ohio) at the end of February and studies after Brooklyn falls asleep at night.
