Spencer turned EIGHT this month.
And from what we know,
EIGHT is GREAT
because in our church, EIGHT is the magical age of when you can know the difference between making good choices verses poor choices. It is also the age when you can be baptized a member of our church. Spencer made that wonderful decision to be baptized this month.
His party was GREAT because he invited a few neighbor friends to go miniature golfing and go-cart riding. Jeff was the sole adult in charge...I stayed home with the girls getting things at the house ready for the boys to come home and on the wait for Grandma Monson's arrival into the O'hare airport.
With friends Charlie, Brian, Geoffrey and Cullen
One thing that wasn't so GREAT was when Spence fell on a rock resulting in an ER trip and four stitches right when we got home from the airport.
But, it was GREAT having Grandma Monson in town for the week. Especially since she helped me weed out more filled closets! Why do I have a hard time getting motivated to do that on my own?
It's also GREAT when you have three other grandparents pop in with a surprise after school pick up! We were lucky to have everyone in town for Spencer's baptism. Grandpa Monson was even able to fly in from the Middle East. How GREAT is that?!!
Two GREAT men walking back to the house from the school.
Sydney enjoyed her GREAT walk home with Bubba--what a treat!
I think it's GREAT when I have a young cute boy to take pictures of in his brand new church suit!
And GREAT photography ideas to pull from other people!
And I won't say anything more than this kid is sporting some GREAT teeth these days!
I love this GREAT kid!
Baptism Day, September 22, 2012
Our GREAT bishop, Bishop Nair. He's from Fiji and we love both him and his wife (who also teaches Sydney piano).
Saydi had a few GREAT words to say at the podium following the baptism.
She's at the GREAT age of seven months.
Take note of the GREAT three year old we're dealing with these days.
It was so fun having all 4 grandparents in town for such a special event! We love grandparents and baptisms!!
