Spring...it came and went

This weekend mom went out of town and it was only me and dad. We have had a blast staying up late, eating junk food, and watching rubbish! Okay, so not exactly, but we did enjoy our first 70-degree day, went to the park a few times, watched baseball and basketball, read a lot of books and even video conferenced with mom via Skype. It has been a lot of fun with dad, but I have missed mom and am excited to see her.

This was on Friday when it was 70 degrees. I had a blast at the park...I was running all over the place. Dad taught me how to dunk...I'm pretty sure I'm ready for organized sports!

This was today, it was cooler, overcast and it started raining on us at the park. I still had a lot of fun, I was able to go down the slide all by myself and I even got to see a couple of skateboarders that were nearby. I am ready for a fun and active Spring and Summer!

My new discovery...The Fridge

I have a new obsession, it's the fridge. Every time it is open I run over as fast as I can to get in and grab something before it closes. I can usually only grab the mustard or the spray butter but sometimes it is open long enough for me to really see what is in there. My latest discover, a kiwi. Now if I started eating the food instead of playing with it,  that might make my mom happier

Yes, it's open. What can I grab? What can I grab?

Take note of the hand

Oh my, what is this? I don't know but I like it

So proud of myself

Look Mom!

What you don't see me doing is then throwing the kiwi. What, it was round like a ball and that's what you do with balls.

Beach Heaven

This past week I spent time in Florida on the beach.

Sigh... It was heaven. I played all day at the beach with my cousins

If you can't see this very clearly my dad spelled my name out in shells.
I was just getting ready to destroy it before my dad snapped a pic.

Loving the water. It was a little chilly but it did not bother me!

Poising for my beach shots

Playing with the cousins

All worn out!

I'll post more pics later. Got to go, nap time.

A Wild Man Born to Roam

So I started walking about a month ago and have not stopped.
Finally, freedom!
Walking is the best thing ever!

clothes are so overrated

Hmmm, what's next, nude piano anyone?

I am going to get you with my gooey hands and face

I forgot to mention my obsession with carrying something when I walk. My favorite is the wooden spoon.

Looking so handsome after my bath

I am also getting very mischievous....I mean explorative! I woke up a bit earlier than my mom and dad wanted to get up so my dad came in and gave me my pacifier. I dosed on and off for a little while but really just wanted to play. So I got this really good idea, I would get my books in the bin next to my crib. So I reached my little arm really far through my crib and somehow reached a book and pulled it through my crib. After looking at it for a while I got board so I decided to eat it, It was a hard cardboard book. When my mom walked in my room this morning I greeted her with a big smile full of paper, she was a little surprised to say the least. That's all for now. I promise I will post more frequently I've just be a little busy discovering the world.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY....TO ME!!

Yep, I am one years old! My parents invited some friends over, the house was decorated with balloons and I got to eat frosting for the first time. What else could I have wanted? Oh yeah, I also got some great new toys, but really frosting is my new favorite food!

What I have been up to lately

Yes that's right, I am getting 4 top teeth all at the same time, talk about pain! I still manage to be happy.

Why am I crying you ask....

Because my favorite crackers are all gone. I guess this would be considered a tantrum, Am I a little too young to be starting this?

Mom, I don't enjoy being stuffed into this big puffy coat on a freezing cold day.

OK, I will smile for the camera. I love the camera.

Happy Halloween, I was one HOT chili pepper.

A Visit from my Cuz

My Cousin Pace came out and visited me for a week. He is 2 days younger than me. We love to play with each other but we also love to fight over toys. I am not kidding, 9 month old babies can actually fight over toys. Especially the piano. My favorite toy. This is Pace's favorite toy as well. You can see the prob. Here is a recap of their trip. Thanks for the visit, wish you lived closer!

Our nigthly bath together. We are both healthy well fed babies. Take note of our chub.
Bundled up in Newport RI. Of course the coldest day of the year so far.
Touring the beautiful Breakers Mansion. The Vanderbilt's Summer home. It is only a 70 room Italian Renaissance style palazzo. It is absolutely AMAZING. The picture below is just one of their patios that looked right on to the ocean.

A fun fall activity, Apple picking. Below Aunt Ani and Pace.

Mmmmmmmmmm. I am just dreaming of the fresh apple pie my grandma made with the apples we picked. Come to think of it, I never got any.

You can't see my face but I am crying in hysterics. We had this game we played. I would cry and then Pace would cry or Pace would cry and then of course that would send my into a fit. It was quite comical to the adults. I did not think it was very funny. However, we had a wonderful and adventurous trip. Thanks for coming.
