A busy Summer

I can't believe how long it's been since I've written. I'm going to try and keep it short and let the pictures speak for themselves.

In June we drove to San Antonio for my sister's wedding. We had a great time and got to see a lot of relatives we haven't seen in years. We also celebrated Andrew's 5th birthday in June. I can't believe how fast he's grown. If I had to describe him to someone I would say he is very smart and loves sports. He will watch any sport and will even watch ESPN before cartooons sometimes.

In July we celebrated Alex's 3rd birthday. He has changed so much this year. His vocabulary has grown so much. He is a very determined little boy. He is an observer. He also likes to help a lot. We also went to San Antonio again in July for my best friend Becky's wedding.

In August the boys started school. It was hard to take Andrew to Kindergarten the first day. He is doing great though.

I can't leave Avery out. She is walking everywhere these days. She is very different than her brothers. She is a girly girl. She loves shoes, necklaces, and bracelets. She is very sweet natured and calm unless her brothers upset her.

These days we are busy with soccer, the Little Gym, Bible study, Mother's of Preschoolers group, Speech for Alex, and school for the boys. I feel like a Taxi driver sometimes.-Stacey

Well we made our first trip to San Antonio for the summer. We went for my sister's wedding. We actually were in Fredricksburg, Texas for the wedding and spent only one full day in San Antonio. We enjoyed seeing the whole family very much and the wedding was beautiful. We are so happy for her and Joey and she was a beautiful bride. Unfortunately we didn't get much sleep because we were all sleeping in the same room so we were very happy to get home and sleep in our own beds. We also didn't have any spare time to really relax and see other family and friends. It was all about the wedding this trip. Maybe when we go back in July for my best friend's wedding we will have more time to catch up with everyone.-Stacey

I can't believe it. Andrew is almost five and graduated from preschool yesterday. I had tears in my eyes as I watched my sweet boy in his little cap and gown. I thought I would be fine and even laughed when other parents talked about being sad but I guess I was kidding myself. Last night when I got him ready for bed and he read "Yucky Ball" to me and then I tucked him in, I just wanted to hold him tight all night long. Everyone is sooooo right when they say "children grow so fast."-Stacey
