Prickley Pear Rubber Stamp Monday Card

Unless I'm too late posting it to our group. I tend to run last second, never mind last minute. lol
If you follow the PPRS Blog, then you know they have had some "Sneak Peeks" of their new stamps. And even though they don't have them in their store yet, they have been selling and shipping early to other stores. So yours truly already has some of the new Fall, Halloween and Christmas stamps in. Just check my store and see, I got red rubber, clear sets and dies. And I will be getting more.

Apparently the good old Kaleidocolor ink pads are making a comeback, because they came out with some new colors at CHA. So I dug one of my old ones up and used it to stamp the image and sentiment from the Clear Stamp Set Fall Leaves (CLR037). The dies I used are  Flourished Oval (PPRS D033) as well as the Oak & Maple Leaf Die (PPRS D018).

Prickley Pear Monday Card - 7/29/13

On this card I used 2 different stamp sets and their coordinating dies, Spring Flourished Ovals Clear Stamp Set (CLR033) and Flourished Oval Die (D033) as well as Blobby FLowers 2 (CLR015A) and Blobby Flowers Die (D015). I used Copics to color, B21, 23, 24 and RV52, 55 and 00.
And, as always, my photo taking and Photo Shop skills suck, lol, I can never seem to get the colors right.

PPRS Thursday Card

I stamped the "Wildflower ATC Background" (HH0100M) on the ivory cardstock and the pink background paper. "2 Daisy Heads"  (GG0074M) was stamped on chipboard that I painted with Antique Linen Distress Paint, then I "doodled" and added little bling around the edge, and pink glitter glue on the Daisies. I used the "Rosarian" paper collection from Prima and black cardstock for layering,  and chipboard photo corners from Make It Crafty.

Prickley Pear card

Unless I'm too late posting this, this will go up on the PPRS Blog on Thursday the 13th.
It started out with me playing around with my PanPastels, and then off I went.
I used Dandelions & Butterflies (GG0138), Steampunk Gears Die (D025) and Steampunk Gears Set#2 (CLR025A). I stamped gear multiple times on white cardstock and then went over it with yellow PanPastel, I then cut out the background, gears and photo corners from this, stamped the Dandelion stamp in black ink on white cardstock and used a die from Spellbinders called Resplendent Rectangles for all the mats as well as the where my image was stamped.

My second PPRS/Cherry Lynn Blog Hop contribution

Lolita

For my second card I used Lolita, FF0052 (just love that stamp!) and colored her with Copics. With the Cherry Lynn Die "Rum Punch with Double Angel Wing" I made a background and frame using pink vellum (top layer) and a black lace paper from the Lyric Collection by Prima. Almost all other papers and embellishments are from the Lyric Collection as well.

Prickley Pear Monday

On this card I used the  JJ0004UM "Daisy in a Pocket" and the DD0064M "Daisy in a Pocket", small, and the sentiment is DD0047UM. They were colored with Copics, cut out and mounted. The template for this card is called a Center Stepper Card Template. I love a little "paper architecture" every now and then. From this angle you really can't tell what it looks like. I'll have to make a different card and use it again. :)

Prickley Pear Monday Post

I used the stamps "50's Bodice" and "Cherries, sm." from PPRS, both foam mounted red rubber stamps, colored them with Copics and picked papers and ribbon to coordinate.

Prickley Pear Monday Post

This week I went the Mixed Media way, sort of. I gessoed a 4x4 canvas, took my new Hexagon 6x6 stencil from the Crafters Worshop and a little embossing paste. While this was all drying my PPRS large Hibiscus die came out. I punched out 4 flowers in metal and used Copic RV93 and RV95 to color them, and made the large flower by cutting and gluing it.(Tutorial will follow.) Next I stamped with Archival ink, I used both of the PPRS Hibiscus Clear Stamp sets. I also used the smaller Hibiscus die and cut out 3 paper flowers using BoBunny's new C'est La Vie 6x6 paper pad.
Time to paint!! I used my new Art Anthology Colorations Vineyard Spray, Victorian Velvet and Bundled Sage Distress Paint. Glued down paper, again from BoBunny's new C'est La Vie paper collection, and strip of folded washi tape from Prima's Sunrise Sunset collection. My big metal flower and one of the little ones got tiny orchid colored glassbeads glued to the edges and I added a white "pearl" to the middle of each flower, glued the big flower in place and stamped my Sentiment from the PPRS Hibiscus Set 2 in Archival ink.
I sure hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!

PS. I really need to make myself a light box so my colors come out better. Since Photoshop and I are apparently never going to be close friends. lol

Prickley Pear Monday Submission.

I love the look of Poppies, so bright and colorful. Here I used the stamps Poppies Garden (JJ0036) and the sentiment comes from the Hibiscus Clear Set from Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps. I colored the image with Copics - used the R20's for the Poppies. Then I pulled out my old, old folder with Coluzzle templates, and cut the different sizes of tags. Layered them, added a brad and some natural raffia. I stamped the saying and used an EK punch to punch it out.

Prickley Pear Design Team weekly card.

I used the stamp "Steampunk Locomotive"  (KK0033) and 2 of the clear stamps from Prickley Pears Rubber Stamps "Gears" set. I also used the die "Gears" from PPRS and one from Spellbinder's called "Sprightly Sprockets". The locomotive was colored with Copics originally, but once I got going putting this card together I ended up using Frayed Burlap Distress ink on pretty much everything. the really big gear in the background got a once-over with Frayed Burlap Distress Stain and a dusting of Perfect Pearls Heirloom Gold.
Obviously the PPRS stamps are available from them, but you can also get them and all the other items mentioned above (except the Perfect Pearls) from my Stamproom.
