Hi blog friends, I made this cute birthday card for my niece's second birthday a few weeks ago. I have been getting away from making cards with my cricut but I made an exception with this one. I much prefer to color stamps and digi's with my copics when making a card but the images on "A child's year" are just fantastic.
I used the cute child in a highchair for this one. I think the little number die cut image is from that cartridge too.
Below you can see I made at set, I covered the flap with paper and wrapped her gift in matching tissue paper and ribbon.
The paper is K&Co. "confetti" 12 x 12 paper stack.. Love the balloons on this one and there are cute small scale prints in it too. The card is self-explanatory. I will say that I used 2 spellbinder dies for the rectangle even tho I could have cut it with the cricut. I'm in love with the embossing of spellbinder dies.
Hope you can see it well. The photo's not that good.
I'm entering this in the Ribbon Carousel Challenge #46.
TaTa! for now. :)

SSS151.Thank.you
Hi everyone. I needed a thank you card to send a sweet blogger who is sending me some blog candy. I inked up this Penny Black image and colored it with copics. I got to break into a new MME paper pad, Dolled Up, and used it with the Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge # 151. This paper is so pretty!
For the sentiment, I used a Flourishes Tag Lines stamp. This card fits the color challenge at ColourQ challenge 130 and City Crafter 102 Spring Fling Color Challenge. I added some pearls, gingham ribbon and machine stitching.

Birthday.DS42.TT.160
Hi Blog Friends, Here's my take on this week's Deconstructed Sketch 42 and Flourishes Timeless Tuesday160 Challenge, which is to use Scallops and Lace.
My photo doesn't do this card justice. The card stock that looks like red is actually rust color. I used some Basic Grey 6x6 paper. Following the sketch, I stamped a Fiskers birthday stamp onto a nestibility circle die and layered on a blossom die cut. I inked it with Antique Linen distress ink. I layered some Melissa Frances lace under a strip of designer paper, the layered some satin ribbon on top. Then I layered a ribbon flower, a prima flower, and some twine.
I popped this in the mail today for my dh Aunt.
Thanks for visiting.

Happy.St.Patty's.Day.Card
Hi blog friends,
I had to jump on the St.Patty's Day bandwagon like all the rest of the bloggers in card land this week! Even tho I have 2 birthdays this weekend that I MUST make cards for. I guess I'll be up late tonight!
Who could resist this adorable little Irish girl hold shamrocks! The image is "Lots of Luck to you" from Phindy's Place. This week their challenge is Monochromatic Green. Darn! I thought my card would work for their challenge this week but it's not monochromatic. I'm going to post it anyway! Sorry for being card rebel!
I had fun matching my copics to this cute paper from Crate Paper, name unknown. I had to search for how to color red hair and luckily I had these colors on my copic collection.
I used a sketch from The Sweet Spot. I also kept the RRR challenge is mind to which is to use green and ribbon on your card.
I'm also posting this to the Papercraft Star challenge.
Thanks for visiting. :)

Mojo.230.A Baby Boy card and Mini album
Hi All, Here is a little project I whipped up for my daughter's college friend who happens to be my neighbor. They bought a house in our neighborhood last year. She's pregnant with her second and I'm hoping it's a boy so I can give her this. I'm going to make a girl set too just in case.
I just felt like playing with this adorable MME lime twist paper and my New Arrival cricut cartridge to make the onsie mini album.
For the card I used this week's Mojo Monday 230 challenge. Link will be below. It's a very versatile sketch.
If you want to see more of the mini, I'll be posting it on "Life on the Scrap Beach" later. (in the photo section, no video this time)
Hope you enjoyed looking!
