We spent Memorial Weekend up in Boise with my dear sister Amy and her family! We had a wonderful time just hanging and being with family. We had snow on our drive up, but the weather eventually cooperated giving us some time to play outside.
Gabbie had a great time with her cousins, Paige and Jake.
I was lucky to get this shot as Gabbie doesn't sit still for very long...
Paige has always been so good with Gabbie and this weekend was no different. She played and played with her the entire time. She is very good to Gabbie which is why she just adores Paige!
We took a fun trip to Toys 'r Us where Gabbie and Paige got to sit in some fun wheels... wheels that will always been fun to look at while in the store, but never to take home.
On our last night, after Gabbies bath, we went outside to say good night to daddy. We ended up playing out there for over an hour. It was so much fun! It reminded me of my childhood and the fun summer nights I had. The adults would be sitting and talking while the kids played.
It was a beautiful evening of nothing special, just playing and great memories!
Gabbie has a thing for rocks. She loves to play with rocks in our driveway and in Papa Larry's backyard. Even with all the grass around, she was fascinated with the rocks in the street. Good thing Amy lives in a culdesac!
I also think we may have a budding geologist on our hands!
Amy's neighbors had this fun little contraption that Gabbie absolutely loved! Anything that goes fast or she can ride is a "Weeeeee" and this was no exception.
Kiley and Jake played a mean game of basketball. Jake is quite the player and gave Kiley a good workout!
Gabbie and Paige, two pretty cute girls!
Just for the record... we do dress our child. I was looking at the blog and realize that most of the pictures and videos are of Gabbie in her pj's. I am not sure if it is just that I take pictures once we are winding down or what, but please know that our child does not live in her pj's!
Thank you, Amy, for having us! We had a wonderful time and can't wait to visit again.
We love you guys!
