Our Sunday

Our Sunday started out very early this morning! And the past three days, this is how we have found Gabbie in her crib... sitting up!

And yesterday, Gabbie got up on all four's, but only for about 2 "steps". But this morning, she crawled just a little bit more...

and even more...

and by this afternoon, we are at the point that I think our days of immobility are officially over! I am all to aware of what that means. So, while I am so proud of my little princess, I also morn the freedom to just sit and talk at a family gathering, visit with friends and live without a gate on the stairs. Oh well, those days will one day again return. For now, I will just celebrate my little girl and all she continues to learn! It amazes me how fast she changes! It is sure fun to watch!

We also have our first teeth! These aren't the best pictures, but you can somewhat see the teeth. Her two lower teeth have broken through and working their way in!

Here is another shot! It is very hard to get a photo of baby teeth!

Since we had the camera out, thought I better document the "white trash" tail my daughter is currently sporting! We have a hair appointment for here in a couple of weeks and the tail will be carefully removed for her at that time. She has had this little tail since birth, but it seems to have grown! Is it wrong that I will actually miss this once it is finally gone?

Our Giggly Girl

Here is some fun video of our giggly girl! She laughs when I say or mouth dadadadada. Yes, those crazy sounds in the background are me, her crazy mom. I just love her giggles.

Here are a few shots of her from yesterday. I thought I better show everyone that I do put bows and stuff in her hair on occasion. She is pretty darn cute if you ask me!

Our Typical Saturday Afternoon

I love the little Cherrio hanging out the side!

Here is a snapshot of a typical Saturday afternoon for us. Gabbie is getting more and more active everyday. She loves the dogs and is always trying to grab their paws, which is funny since Dallas has always hated anyone touching his paws. She is definitely not afraid of the dogs and they are very good to her. Also, note Stella in the background. I don't think she moves this whole video. This is typical for her... she is a pretty mellow dog most of the time.

As you can see, she is getting close to crawling. She gets on all fours, but is not so sure what to do next. She often times will go to her belly and just roll around. She can get to where she wants to be, that's for sure!

Here she is walking with her daddy! She has very strong legs and can definitely hold her weight on them.

Speaking of Daddy... that is her favorite thing to say! If you even say Dadadada, she laughs and smiles. On Friday, he came home from work, gave her a kiss while I held her, and then headed to his bedroom to change. The second he left she just started to cry! She sure loves her Daddy!

She is getting so fun! We are continually amazed at how good she is. She still sleeps great, eats great, and loves to just hang. She loves to get out and do anything! She especially loves the grocery store. She thinks she is the queen bee sitting in the front of the cart! We are sure grateful that she is healthy and growing just like she should be.

We sure love this little girl of ours!
