I Shall Call her..... Mini Me!

Everyone has told me that Gabbie looks just like her daddy and I have always agreed. Kiley's mom gave me this photo of him when he was about 1. It made me realize that she doesn't just resemble him, she looks like his TWIN!

Kiley saw the photo and said, "I shall call her Mini Me!" I think he is right on the money. I just hope she doesn't grow whiskers and go bald when she grows up! Looks great on her daddy, but for a girl?

Is She Cute, or What???

We took a bunch of videos and photos of Gabbie today as we lounged around the house. I know I am biased, but man, she is cute!!

Snuggle, sleepy time with Dad!!! This is really how they we both laying. We didn't stage the arm.
Taking Stella for a ride! Okay, she just sat there for a second and didn't really ride her. No need to call the Humane Services and report us!
Dinner time! She is really getting good at eating. I can't wait to see how she responds to different foods.
Demonstrating her balancing skills in sitting up! I think she is pretty good considering she has only been doing it just over a week. We also discovered today that she thinks fingers scratching a sheet is really funny! I love her little giggles!
Sitting up again, only not so good this time!
She is just such a sweetie!

And to end the day, her bath. She absolutely loves her bath!!! And yes, those are her toes! Once her diaper comes off, her toes are in her mouth ASAP!

Oh, How I Love My Daddy!

This was her Father's Day outfit... it is a little squishy in the picture, but her shirt says "I love my dad!"

Gabbie sure loves her daddy, and he is so good with her! He has been home with her since school got out the first week of June. He has really enjoyed staying home with her and she sure loves having him home. She truly lights up when she sees him!

4th of July! We went to check out the festivities that Spring Creek was putting on... I think we were there a total of 10 minutes. Nothing to write home about!

Check Out My New Chair!!

Gabbie is growing up fast! I truly can't believe it. And as much as I am enjoying it, as she hits the milestones she should be, it makes me a little sad that it is all going by so fast. At her well baby check on June 17, she weighed in at 15 lbs. 12 oz. and was 24.5 inches long. She has also started to eat solids. She loves her rice cereal and just started carrots yesterday. So far so good. In fact, she is getting to where she eats more and wears less. Yet, I am realizing everyday, she is no longer my infant baby. Yes, I realize she is still my baby, but not my newborn.
Along with the solids came a new chair! Her high chair... and she loves it!!! Kiley thinks the fact that it has wheels on it is totally cool, and wheels her in it everywhere. The second day we had it, I came home from work, walked through the door and Gabbie was sitting right there in the hall greeting me from her chair!

Four Generations

Here are some additional photos from our trip to St. George for Gabbie to meet her Great Grandma Goold. 4 Generations... that is so neat!
I sure love Grandma Goold. She is such a sweet and wonderful lady! Looks pretty good for 97 too!
This is one of my favorites. Gabbie was exhausted and Great Grandma was so worried about her, she is digging in her purse to try and find something to make Gabbie happy! Needless to say, we postponed the photo shoot, gave Gabbie a bath, then tried it again. The result are the photos above.
