A Little Sister!

Drum roll please....
Azuree is going to be a big sister! That's right! Kiley and I are expecting Baby Girl #2 on April 6, 2013! We couldn't be more excited! Here are some of our 18 week ultrasound pic's...

Most of you probably already knew that we were expecting again but I thought I'd make an announcement anyways. ;)

Halloween Fun

Halloween was lots of fun this year! Well...I had fun. Kiley and Azuree were good sports. ;) I enjoyed throwing costumes together, making the traditional dinner in a pumpkin, eating roasted pumpkin seeds, and having an excuse to have a fun night with my wonderful, little family! We didn't do a lot because Azuree's still too young to really enjoy it. We still had lot's of fun visiting friends and family. We even stopped at a carnival that was going on by SUU just to take a look around. Uncle Christian even took Azuree down the big, blow-up slide! I think that was Azuree's favorite part of this Halloween. I would bet that it even topped being able to eat lot's of suckers throughout the night. :) Anyways, here's a few pic's that we were able to take...
Azuree was the cutest Cowardly Lion ever!

What a fun day. :)

"Oooooo!"
Practicing eating a yogurt all by herself!
She really enjoyed it :)

Old Cupboards --> New Window Seats

I am so excited to FINALLY be finished with these! It's one of those projects that should've only taken one, maybe two days tops but ended up taking about a week...or two. But I think it turned out all right.
One day on pinterest I saw a picture of some window seats a guy had made out of old cupboards. I was super excited because we had the old cupboards from our kitchen downstairs that would work perfectly!
 Before...
 After!
I needed to sand them down a lot. There were layers of nasty, greasy gunk on them and it had obviously been a while since they had been cleaned. After sanding them I painted them, added wheels, and then seats! Like I said, it shouldn't have taken as long as it did to finish these, but one thing that I have noticed is that when you are a mom things like this tend to take a little bit longer. :) Anyways, I'm glad to be finished with these. And now there's a little extra storage under our window. :)

Here's a few more random pics...
I put Azuree's "mullet" into pigtails for the first time the other day!

 I love this little girly!

Fall Is Here!!

Fall is here!!!! I L.O.V.E. this time of year!! The air outside is fresh and crisp and it just smells like fall! I love it! During this time of year I start getting very antsy. I can't wait for Thanksgiving and Christmas where I can see and spend time with my family! Not to mention my mind starts to fill with fantasies of pumpkin pie, jacket weather, sledding and Christmas trees! But then I remember that I still need to get past Halloween before I can start thinking about Thanksgiving and Christmas...which I am actually very ok with! Since I have been married I have come to LOVE Halloween! I don't know why, but I love decorating for Halloween. I think...no, I *know that I have more decorations for Halloween than I do for Christmas! I really want to change that though because Christmas is still my favorite holiday...I just don't have very many Christmas decorations. But it's ok 'cause I'm sure that over the years I will collect more than I know what to do with. :) Anyways, it's been a little while since I last updated my blog so I'm just gonna share lot's of pic's to catch you up with the Sanders Family.
I guess there are some perks to having a husband who works on the mountain all the time. See this beautiful bouquet of flowers Kiley picked and brought home for me one day?! Aren't they gorgeous?! The pic really doesn't do them justice. They were prettier than any store bought flowers I have ever seen. I also love that they are arranged in a gatorade bottle. :) My hubby knows just how to make my day! I love him muy mucho!
Azuree is growing up so fast!!!! She is running all over the place and she now has 6 teeth (that we are aware of). She is finally starting to get some hair, but not really enough to do anything with. So I don't even try to tame it, which...I don't know why, but I really love Azuree's fuzz head! I think it's so cute! Anyways, here's a few pic's of our extremely energetic and CUTE Azuree...

I know that in this pic Azuree doesn't look happy at all, but she really was having so much fun walking around in daddy's button-up shirt! She walked around in it for at least a good 5 minutes. It was so funny. :)
Now these might be my favorite pic's ever! Kiley, Azuree and I were able to go to the festival of homes here in Cedar City and we really enjoyed it! We loved seeing all the beautiful houses and getting ideas and dreaming about what we would do to our house if we could. But at one of the houses they had a log bed that Kiley was curious about how they put it together. So he got down on the floor to look at how it was put together and Azuree got right down with him! She wanted to see what Daddy was looking at! I thought it was the cutest thing!
Another house had a slide going from the first floor to the basement and Kiley and Azuree really enjoyed  going down the slide. :)

We had some friends over for dinner one night which was so fun! I love these people so much!
One Sunday after church, while trying to entertain Azuree, we decided to make a fort! (I think it ended up entertaining Kiley more than Azuree ;) It was so much fun! It made me really excited that I have many more years of sheet and pillow forts in the family room to look forward to. It makes me happy and warm inside just thinking about it. I love being a parent! It's the most amazing and rewarding thing that has ever happened to Kiley and I. We love spending time with Azuree and watching her grow and learn. Can't wait to see what she does next! ;)

This little girl and this little dog love each other so much!!! They are the cutest thing to watch as they play together!
First..."pony tail!" (If you could even call it that...) I couldn't resist trying to see if she finally had enough to even put a hair tie in it. She did...barely. It was pretty cute though. :)
Our big girl is now in a front facing car seat! She is growing up so fast!
Here's a few pic's of one of my "latest" projects. I finished it a while ago but never put pic's of it up. So here they are! I went to a yard sale and got this awesome shelf from our friends and I was SO excited to get it! I knew exactly where I wanted to put it when I saw it.
Before...

 After!

I was pretty happy with how it turned out.
Here's just a few of my fall/Halloween decorations. I have been holding myself back BIG time because it's still September and I didn't really feel like it was time yet to break out all the Halloween decorations. But...I put these up in the middle of September and I don't think I can wait till the end of September. I have had the Halloween tote out of storage for a while now and I think today might be the day to open that baby up! So excited!! :)

I'm so weird. I get super excited about the tiniest things. I was so excited about these spiders! I made them! Yup, I did! All it takes is some wire, hot glue and black spray paint. I had fun making them and I actually might make some more...or a lot more. Who knows. :)
We went and watched Kamron and Layton play football in Parowan the other day. This is the only pic we got. We had so much fun watching them play! I only wish we could make it to more games.
 Well, that's it for now!

Our July Adventures

Goodness...I think July is the busiest month of the year! We had so many reunions and family get-togethers to go to that I don't think there was a single July weekend that we spent at home! But we loved it and we feel so blessed to be able to live so close to our wonderful families!
The Sanders family July was filled with lot's of swimming...
and camping and family reunions! These are some pic's of the Jepson reunion. We look forward to it every year! It is such a good time! We loved seeing everyone!
Azuree had a BLAST playing in the dirt! And eating it too :)
Here's Azuree helping set up Uncle Tyler and Aunt Brandie's tent :)
The reunion was so much fun! There was frisbee golf and so many other fun games and activities!
Azuree had so much fun playing with her cousins!
Fishing at the fish pond!
More playing with cousins...
This was the "throne" we made for Azuree during the rain storm. She loved playing in the dirt but mommy wasn't ready for her to play in the mud...
My handsome husband :)
Azuree and Uncle Shane!
Pic's with Great Grandma Jepson :) We love you Grandma!
With all the rain we had the nights were pretty cold! So Azuree got to sleep in-between mommy and daddy at nights and BOY! Was that an adventure! We have never, ever been able to get her to sleep with us. When she is on mommy and daddy's bed, to her that means it's time to play! So it was quite a challenge the first night to get her to sleep. However, after the first, long, miserable night she actually did ok sleeping in-between mommy and daddy! I was pretty surprised!
The 24th of July was a memorable day for sure! After the parade we decided to take Azuree to the pet store, just for fun, to see all of the animals. We thought she would love them! Kiley, Azuree and I went in...and came out with this...
Isn't he so cute?! His name is Cub :) The pet store was giving him away for free because he has a crooked walk which we just fell in love with! We think it makes him that much cuter! So we couldn't resist him and now we have a puppy!

Azuree loves him too! She is still getting used to how energetic he is though. He loves to jump all over her and she's not sure what she thinks about that yet. But she loves to watch him and she can already say his name :)
We got to babysit my brother Rob's little girls for a few days which was so fun! But it made me realize that I'd be in trouble if I ever had twins :) Azuree and Bailey are only a month or two apart in age, so it was pretty much like having twins. I loved watching these adorable little girls! I don't get to see them enough.
And here's beautiful Brooklyn :)

Brooklyn's favorite thing was taking pic's with our camera. I think she has the making's of a pretty decent photographer!
Some of Brooklyn's work.
Brooklyn's toes :)
The other day I went in to get Azuree up and she had taken her shirt half way off! Silly girly :)
I love this little girl so much!!! I would give anything to see that adorable, toothy smile :)
There were several other reunions and get-togethers but I am the worst at remembering to take pic's! :( So, sadly, I don't have anymore pic's to post of our other July adventures. We had so much fun tho and we loved seeing everyone again! Can't wait till next time!
Well, that's it for now! Toodles!
