'Tis The Season

 'Tis the season for...
...naps...

 ...silly faces...

 ...cousin time...

 ...Christmas devotionals...

 ...loves...

  ...Santa Claus...

 ...and Christmas trees!!
I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR!!!

Well, what else can I tell you about?
My newest little niece Olivia was born! And isn't she BEAUTIFUL?! I really think she might be the prettiest baby I have ever seen. I love her so much!

I love this picture! Azuree drew this and then told me "It looks like a mommy!" Ha ha ha I guess this is what I have caused to be the norm for moms in my little girls eyes.  I feel bad for my kids sometimes ha ha.
I feel bad that this is the only picture I took of our Thanksgiving weekend in Aurora. But I think it explains the weekend pretty well. This was taken only minutes after we headed home. We all played so hard and had so much fun!

Emri has this favorite blanket that she can't sleep without and that she drags around with her all day. So, needless to say, it gets SUPER dirty. Here are some lovely before and after pics for your enjoyment :)
I decided that just throwing it in the washer wasn't cutting it any more. It needed some serious help. So I scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed! In case you are curious I used Felsnaptha, the best soap in the world for stains!
Look at that NASTY water!! And I hadn't even wrung out the blanket yet!
Here it is all clean! Well...mostly. Two of the squares are made out of this lovely material that just wouldn't go pink again. But the rest of it looks great now :)
We have this old, nasty banana chair that Kiley got for Christmas when he was little. So of course he can't part with it :) But if I keep letting our girls play on it and use it as a "slide" it just might fall apart enough that he will let me get rid of it...maybe.
 First Azuree got stuck...

And then of course Emri had to be like big sister :)
Emri struck this little pose all on her own :)
Proof that they do get along sometimes :)
I am seriously looking forward to the day that my girls don't leave a huge mess when they eat. But for now, I will just smile and enjoy it cause sometimes it can be pretty cute :)

I just have to brag about my hubby for a little bit. I LOVE that he is such a handy-man and that he works so hard and will always try to figure out how to fix things! Here he is being all manly and replacing the fuel filter in our van (which apparently was no easy task because it was inside the fuel tank...).

 Old and new fuel filter...

Here he is with his brother Chip learning the tricks of the trade in their family's Utah Septarian Treasures business! All of the men worked for a little while in the shop during the Thanksgiving break. I know Kiley really enjoyed it!
And here he is just being good lookin.'
I love my hubby!

What It's All About

I love my life! I love my girls, I love my husband, I love the adventures we are experiencing together! Our life has been and is so much fun! Below are just a few pictures of what my life is all about :)

These are some pictures I told you about in my last post...Azuree and Emri around the same age, in the same PJ's, in grandma's glasses :) I love these pic's! I like seeing how similar and yet different my girls are!
Azuree loves dentist visits! In this regard, she is most definitely not like her mom. Growing up I hated going to the dentist office...I remember once during my Junior year of high school I actually cried because my mom had scheduled a dentist appointment without telling me about it until it was time to go... I'm glad Azuree enjoys the dentist and that she does so well during her visits.
Being a mom is the best thing ever! I love these little sweet hearts!
Plenty of dress-ups around here :)
I found these mirrors at DI and repainted them for our family room. I love good deals and crafting :)
These three have my whole heart!
Before...
After... I gave Azuree bangs :)
Before...

After... I got a haircut too!
I canned applesauce! This was my first time ever canning anything and I was pretty proud! Well...I still haven't opened any yet...so we'll see if I'm still proud when I get the courage to open one :)
We get the Best-Parent's-Of-The-Year award for this :) Turn my head for one minute and she gets her head stuck in something...
This amazing girl got married!! She was such a beautiful bride! I was so happy that Kiley and I could be there for Shaylee and Dallen's wedding!
It's always so fun to see these amazing girls! I will always love them!!
The girls and I went to Moab for Shaylee's reception and for my brother Layton's farewell. We were able to see Trevor and Afton and their cute little girls too! It's sad that they live so far away so it's always fun when we get to spend time with them!
Uncle Layton treated us to some frozen yogurt at his work. These girls loved it!
Love my little sis! She is such a beauty :)
Oh that little smirk...love it!
We also saw Robert and Natalie and their girls. Azuree and Emri love cousin time!
Halloween! Such a fun time of year!
Emri was a cute little giraffe...
And Azuree was a Super Hero Princess! She was given this cape and mask for her birthday in June and ever since then all she wanted to be was a super hero for Halloween!

This Halloween was so much fun! We took Azuree out trick-or-treating for the first time and to say she loved it would be a huge understatement. Once she got the candy from one house she turned right around and practically dragged me to the next house! She was so excited! Kids make holidays so much more fun :)
We were able to go see Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff too on Halloween! Azuree was excited to see them...but I think she was more excited to see the big bucket of candy that they had :)
Azuree and Emri's pumpkins
Azuree did Emri's hair one day...oh the joys of having a big sister! These were not very fun to take out...
Emri is now in a toddler bed! When did she get so big?!

Sure it has it's hard times and trials, but I wouldn't change anything about my life! It's AWESOME!
