Aurora is in kindergarten and as far as I can tell she hasn't cried at school. She loves school. The first day was I was a little nervous not knowing how Aurora would react and I couldn't believe I just set her on the bus and she was gone, but everything went well. We have a routine that works really well and she has an awesome teacher. She has made a friend with a little girl in our complex who is also in her class. They play at the bus stop and ride together. It is probably best that they don't sit by each other in class. The has P.E. three days a week and music and art one day each. She picks her clothes out, some days are normal and some days are a little embarrassing for me but she seems to pull it off.
I hear these questions all week . . .
What I am having for lunch tomorrow?
What should my after school snack be?
What should we do after school?
Can I make my lunch?
What is for dinner?
Why do you get me up so early?
Can I have a break from school? (already Aurora really???)
Aurora likes to know what is happening at all times
Nolan is my home buddy, he misses Aurora, but seems to nap more. Gerald gets home after lunch so we spend time with just us and Nolan and it's pretty quiet.
Aurora is about to experience her first weekend as a student (before school there was hardly a distinction Sunday being the exception). I should plan something so she isn't bored out of her mind.
