Woohoo I have dropped the pre Nolan weight! Now onto the pre Utah/Aurora/Wedding weight 20 lbs to go.

thanks to miss shortcake aurora now says "berry" instead of very. it used to be kind of cute and now it bugs me.

and some projects I am working on for Aurora (quiet stuff for church or for when we are on the road) felt dolls, paper dolls (but laminated and I'm making backgrounds for them), felt animal masks, "eye spy" bag game thing.

So I've been trying to do more of the things on my 25 things list and I found these felt play envelopes on pinterest which links to an etsy shop (listed at $16 for 4) I had all the supplies sans velcro (I'll get some tomorrow). Mine might not be as neat looking but it was my first go and I love them.

The other project I did this weekend was these mini albums (check out the link for the tutorial Each albums takes one 12x12 sheet) I made 11 of them. They don't have the pictures or embellishments yet but I cannot get enough of them.

Next I am going to make some cute hanging book displays using this tutorial as a guide, I have lots of fabric and I purchased some dowel rods Saturday so I am read to go.

Happy Father's Day

 I love the Father's in my life. My dad is awesome. Gerald is an amazing father, I not really surprised but he is a better parent than I am.

The primary put together a book of answers to questions about teh kids father's and I would like to share Aurora's responses.

He got a different number on his birthday.

then Gerald proceeded to elaborate on this. It made me laugh as he described various animals and how exactly they remind him of our children.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY.

I wish I could be hanging out with my Dad but thrilled I get to spend it with Gerald instead of working (like I did the past three father's days at the HFAC).

It's summer

Been watching  a lot of Psych on Netflix and playing the game little big planet after Aurora goes to bed and I hang out on Pinterest.com.

We are waiting... gerald has applied for several great teaching jobs and hopefully he gets one of them.

Nolan sneezed the largest Booger I have ever seen. 1/4" x 1" not even kidding. It is in the garbage right now Gerald wouldn't let me take a picture for photographic evidence. just believe me and with that booger the sour milk smell has gone away for now.

He's been sleeping 6 hours straight just about every night. I hope this continues!

Aurora is putting on a great concert of altered primary songs (changed by her of course).

Funny story about Aurora

Aurora: Daddy I have something I want to share with you (hands are behind her back).
Gerald: Okay, What do you want to share?
Aurora: (while bringing what is in her hands forward) The Book of Mormon.

Little update

 Aurora got her sassy summer hair cut and we are adjusting to always being home together

 Nolan has been cooing all over the place and loves hanging out with Gerald

He's perfect even though the air that comes out of his nose smells like sour milk

(not sure what to do about that)
