Lab work

(Fusarium)

I have volunteered to work in one of my professors labs.

Plant Pathology!

I am pretty excited-I hope it be a little like my work at

Rice Tec (in Alvin Texas-best rice in the World).

Should be a great experience-awesome for the resume.

School is going well-as always I can't wait until this semester is over

I have big plans for the summer.

Spinach Shake

About a year ago I had a friend tell me about green shakes 

but I wasn't ready for that and I didn't think I had time to make it. 

So last week I was talking to Aurora's nursery teacher 

and she gave me a really simple recipe

-Spinach a strainer full

-half a banana-the flavor

-half a cup of apple juice

put it all in the blender

and ta-da

 So I tried it a few days later and I have done it for the past 6 days

I add ice and strawberries(if I have them) 

drinking it cold makes it taste better

I also don't like odd colored things 

so I drink it in a tall mug and with a straw

this is the first time I think in my life 

that I get a full 

5 a day for fruits and vegetables

after I drink this i try to eat more vegetables 

throughout the day.

Valentines

The shadow box I made for Valentines

Tea pot and flowers gerald got for me

he also bought me a book.

-he was so sweet this year-

My *LOVE* letters I covered

Gerald and I went out to eat this year

-I think this is the very first time we have actually gone out for Valentines-

Gerald doesn't like this holiday 

But

He knows that I do and he was very good this year. 

I think a lot of it had to do with our friend Brian 

-wanted to surprise his wife-

 he got the dinner together.

afterwards we put Aurora to bed

and we all watched X-men Origins 

it was perfect.
