So I'd some modifications to Part 1, still at beginners level.
My pushups are done with knees on ground.
With the sandbag, i held a 2.5kg weight (that was what i could find at home)

'Determined' is the word for today.
This is a killer workout!! The thought of having a new body keeps me going.
im all hyped up, unicorn and me will be doing our workout in the gym tomorrow!!

Centre to Elbow Jump (L&R) & 2 x leg jumps - 7 sets 3 sets

Clean & Press & Squat & Press & Push Up - 3 sets 5 sets

Tuck Jumps x 5 & ½ Burpee & squat hold x 5 - 2 sets 1 sets

Spider Knee Push up & Straight Leg Push Up (L&R) - 8 sets 12x

Our energy levels were drained by the end of the session, it felt GREAT!! 'Its only 12mins, sweat it all out and you're done for the day!'

I'm so glad i've my best friend doing this with me - she's my greatest support. I'm all hyped up about this as we're working towards a new body!! Though we will be miles apart for the coming 10mths, we will be able to track our progress here!! :)

Fit Test:

Set your interval timer to 50/10 and complete as many as the following exercises in the time as you can. We will be using our interval timers in every single workout of this 30 day challenge and it is basically the only must have item for BodyRocking. Our timers let us know when to switch exercises and the “beeps” keep us all pushing harder then a regular clock ever could.

We have downloaded 'Seconds Free' app to help us with the interval training.

Our 1st Terry Fox Run!! :) 15 Jan 2012
5Km: 40mins

My fellow unicorn was my inspiration, the reason we did this run was because cancer took our loved ones away.

I never thought i would ever do a long distance run. Always failing 2.4km NAPFA runs.. clocking above 20mins during school days.

Unicorn found out about the run.. 'Lets do it!' I trained since Dec 2011.. However, I have overactive tibialis anterior (front calf muscle), it will cramp up. I Increased my water and fruits intake.. The main factor was my running style.

To run properly: elbows bent 90°, lean your body forward, start jogging slow at your own pace, swing arms and land on ball of your foot. When running, you want to conserve energy, so keep all muscles relax, focus at one point and enjoy the run. When i'm tired, i use my arms to propel me forward.

Set an aim, if thats what you wanna do, work towards your goal and do it. If I can do it, you can do it too! :) (im the living example!) Be determined.

Alohaaaa Everybody!! Ooo after a year of hiatus from this blog.. We are glad that 2011 have whizzed past. It was a turbulence.. Nonetheless we had each other for support. I <3 you fellow unicorn!! :)

So.. 2012. We are back. Mentally & Physically stronger.. One of our goals is to transform our body - losing weight, toned, most importantly staying healthy & be fit. We will then inspire others around us.

We do not have the perfect built or the greatest metabolism. We will strive hard to keep ourselves fit and keep each other motivated throughout the year.

You'll be seeing posts of various exercise challenges record.. It is a log for both of us to keep track.


We'll share couple of things about ourselves, our diet, workout regime and progress along the way.

im blessed to have such an awesome wonderful Family & Best Friend! :)

Yest i received my bday card from my bestieee & uncle william! *surprise* :) i ll post up e pic soon. I love the cards!!! Thank youuuuu!! <3

My best friend made my day real special though she's so far away!! With a surprise watch that im so looking forward to!!!! :) :) (and the whole story behind getting the watch..hahahahaa.....i love u soooooo infinity much) She's e most awesomest person ever!! :) :) im so glad that our friendship is so strong tt anything else can just bounce away.

Like i've always said.. You can hv tt many friends, in times of danger only your true friends will be there for u. So, im just happy enough to know tt you'll always be there for me!! :)

Through this crazy whacked out nutters time, thank you for sticking by me with all the encouragement i ever need!! <3

Final 2 tomorrow and its finally finally home sweet home in a week's time!!!! Smell it!!its coming sooooon!!

My after exams original plan is now flawed with meetups & BBQ!hahahaaa..all i can think of is shop.pack bag.home.

THURS - Lunch BBQ at Iz's then dinner BBQ at northbridge with physio kids. Perhaps some laundry washing can be done.....
FRI - (i really HAVE TO shop for real) 1pm gotta go supermarket/deco shopping for sat's BBQ. Bake cupcakes! I really shld be cleaning my room.
SAT - Bake cupcakes & prep for BBQ. Open House at 6pm! We're expecting abt 30 of us! *and of course my bestiee is joining.. ;)*
SUN - shop.pack bag.pack room.
MON - museum with Stig. Shop. Pack bag.
TUES - Shop. Pack bag. Defrost fridge.
WED - Shop. Wash & Wax Ryder. Pack Bag. Vacuum. Cant wait to get to the airport!!!!!

This is making me heaps excited like a bunny now!!!! :) :) *hOpPing around* tom will be a great day. It ll be. Nail the 2. (tooooo much excitement!! peristalsis happening)!

Hellooooooooo bestest!

Finally after waiting for ages, its finally your turn at the big ole 25, in less than 2 hours! You tweeted me to request for a picture of me holding a handwritten Happy Birthday and to tag you on fb. C'mon you! I thought of that too, that was part of my plan yo!
Alright since I can't wish you over the phone, on tweeter, fb and blogger all at the same time, I shall stagger.

Blessed birthday to the most amazing, awesome, selfless and loving friend anyone can ever ask for, YOU!! You bring so much joy, laughter and sunshine to my life, at the same time offering solace and comfort. Thank you for just being you.. Crawling slowly like forever. Who e heck has exams every single day.
Oh yay 3down..7to go..bahhh.. When u see yr friends status..its all half way through & almost done. We're not even half way there yet.

it really doesnt make sense to hv so much pressue. Exams are stressful enough, on top of tt allocating only such a short time when u expect a long ans OR there's so many mini qns to be ans.

Everyday its like.. Okay, click delete today's info. Refresh info for tom's exam. Some info gets muddled up. Increase/decrease this that no what.. havent had hand cramps in a looooong time. Im really looking forward to pass after studying my ass off every single sem. Crash & burn.. Even cars get burnout..what more us. If there's such a term 'brain f*', tts whats happening everyday after exams and having to concentrate on e next next and the next.

its all just a mental game. Whoever said this was ever easy from the beginning? Going through this, brings out the tears & intelligence in you.
