Yay!!!... after days of admiring at the SE K810i , finally got it in my hands lo.... It just came at the right time la.... just as i was thinking of buying it, Singtel got offer on k810i... wa.... power sia... how they know i wan that phone!!!!...haha!!!. A good deal la... $100 off the normal price.... but only on last weekend.... so ... i chionged to get it... hohoho!!!~~~
And also at the same time converted to the mio plan... save money la.... only $68/mth for all services... !!
Time so fast one... now last day of july lo... but ... still quite a happy holiday la... find job ...work....relax... find...work...relax......haha!!!...but the most relax one is still the last job as a packer...haha!!!... long time no see guys.. whole of last week in camp ...some say very relax..only lecture and tests ..really meh??.... me kena sun-tanned la.. hand chao ta already la... haha...of the 6 days there,, 3 days out in the sun lor... somemore the heat is especially hot !!!... especially on top of the black junk metal .. cant tahan la... but lucky the time out there is 80% talking & listening to crap stories (with some uncensored).. 5% sms-ing... 5% sleeping... and finally 10% action... maybe even lesser .. hahah... only waiting for the time to pass only...=p
O.o.. and i 1st time tested the new ippt system.. but the sensors either lagging or sense wrongly lor.. for sit up use hand also counted ... for shuttle run the time started like 1 sec after passing the gantry... As for me... managed to pass all static stations... but .. bo lat zhao leh... lao hong alrealy la... failed the running by 35 secs... :(
And i think i overexerted for the ippt la... kena sick the day after...too long nv excercise ba...
Pirates of carribean is interesting !!... plus abit of comedy scenes even more so! ...especially the pirate Jack ... like abit ah kua ah kua leh.. wahahahah... its worth to watch it!

Ouch ouch!!.. now my back is aching after 1 week of 'training' .. erm.. no.. to bad its not exercising... its moving boxes of heavy books around .. or shd i say literally throwing them ba.. ahhahaha.. and funny also .. how come my hands are getting smother after all these heavy work... hmmmm ... but also not bad la.. can become "abs man" there .. wahahaha~~
too bad i will hav a loss of income next week.... thanks to the service to the 'green organisation'... how to survive on their meagre pay!!!... somemore cant claim make up pay .. so rugi la... lucky only one week ict ... and somemore got vesak holiday .. so shorter dread... :(

kids day out

last session with the kids today at pasir ris park... and the ratio is 1 to 3 .. no no.. not 1 kid to 3 mentor.. but 1 mentor to 3 kids .... with their unlimited energy x3 .. imagine running ard with them is a very good form of exxercise .. but erm... very tiring also lor...
And we saw a one-eyed cat there... so poor thing.. the whole left eyeball was missing... and it muz have been in hunger ba.. but luckily we fed him with some tuna...

O.o.. went to the motorola tour today. It was quite an eye-opener coz we can visit their manufacturing plant.. the way they assemble a phone look so simple la... like fixing jigsaw puzzle ..hehe...
But the IA exhibition quite pathetic ... not becoz of the quality of the projects.. but coz only one booth out of 18 is nus de.. the rest all ntu ... Hmmm.. .. that nus guy quite kelian ba...

Yea!!!.. had our back row clan outing at ECP...and finally i learnt how to cycle liao .. amazing ya!!... with the guidance of xiao hong ..haha... but still not pro yet la... lucky nv fall down ar... now i know how fun is cycling already...

Hohoho... went to cafe iguana at evening at riverside point in clarke quay with tim and co... 1st time there though..... As expected, it was a pub-like setting in the open air...too bad we didnt get the riverside seats.. Ordered a jug of traditional lime margarita since there's a half price offer .. hahaha...lucky the tequlia content wasn't high... so we still can tahan it ... and tim seem to fell in love with it and drank the most..4 cups compared to my 1.5 cups ..me too lao ya lor...hehe...
Hmm .. the grilled chicken buritto was quite a good choice.. at least better than the previous dish at the russian restaurant....
Overall.. quite a good place to hang out... if u ignore the expenses.. =p
Reverse bungee seems scary to me after looking at it close -up... being flung up in the air .. up and down.. .. dun think i can take it lor... =X

animal resort

Yay!!.. went to animal resort today... and ya.. did alot of walking....tired la... hahah.. the place was quite ulu la. somewhere inside jln kayu la.... not for girls to go there alone ba.. Its kinda open-zoo concept , er... no no.. open bird-park ba...the big animals are locked up though.. hahah.. only big birds, cranes, turkeys... are roaming ard... but no alot la..

Wow... first time feeding them by hand.. esp the birds la.. so scared they bite.. but they didnt la.... and rabbits ... and goats .. and the "only say hello" parrot .. haha.. so dao ...!!!

And of course ... back to the tomyam cravings.. haha.. esp with mei ard.. surely muz eat haha... psst..( actually me also lor)... wahahaah...

Finally got the 1st draft of the longest paper i've ever wrote out. Such an impossible task is finally over.. but frightening ones are coming..but.. hmmm.. i shall not think about them at this moment.. let them come and go along with the wind.....
Hoho... finally the MLE lecturer is gone with his monotone lectures ... so can we expect a more lively Mle next week.. without dozing offf, seeing his 'cartoons' or 'movies' as he always tries to amuse us.. but to no success. Hope the incoming one has more passion for the class...and be more "singaporean" ..hahah
Sadly, the econs lecturer is also swopping with another.. What a pity!!.. to lose such interesting guy.. *sigh*.. no more chance to listen to his funny, comical economics stories, which are quite interesting and applicable to real life...
Well, midterm results were generally bad.. For some , though the raw score looks decent but... the grade may prove otherwise... Argh!!.. still got 2 results more to expect.. which i feel there is no point in knowing... But, i m really stunned at the ctw score.. well... thanks tweet tweet.. wahahah...
Today got no kids session... so gotta chance to spend the morning posting this post.. =p
Last week, we went to the science centre.. wow!.. long time nv been there.. when exactly is the last time i forgot also.. THey are so excited abt de place.. runnning ard so energetically ..almost pulling the whole place down.. (not so 夸张 la)... where did their energy come from??.. the mentors also cant catch up with them lor.. so we ended up sitting ard while the kids roam abt... Not to worry ... they wont get lost de... cos some are "stuck" to boss le... ahaha

Wow.. long time nv post le..so busy with those nv ending dreaded assignments ...and the terrible tests that were ... just terrible.... =X...
Finally those are over.. for the time being.. but i doubt the results will be satisfactory... as 50% time i was guessing for most the subjects..
7 more weeks of facing the monstrous C++.. 7 more weeks of hell living... 7 more weeks to the end of misery... 7 more weeks to vacation!!... seems far but soon it will be...
But at the moment the position paper is driving me crazy... how how?? ... still haven't managed to squeeze out a tiny paragraph on intro... not mentioning the rest of the 1500++ words awaiting to flow out of my mind... gone case la.... mental blockage... cant think leh... wat more can i say abt "thinking on my feet"... :=( ...

1st day of tutorials.... Good vs Bad

First day of 2 tutorials today.. .. one good one bad.. From observations.. it seems that a more difficult module always get better lecturers and tutor.... and indeed it is so... C++, the most challenging module of all, excluding CTW , has good lecturers and tutors, at least for my group.. they can understand what they are talking about.. can look forward to attending their lessons ... can at least let their lesson be enjoyable....

...BUT..

this is not so for math this time... ~hOrrOr~, spoiler of the day...At first sight , the tutor has a "can't be bothered" look.. worse still... the way she conducted the class is much much worse than the previous tutor last sem.. Speaking to herself.. to the whiteboard.. but not to us!!... and introduced some funny never heard before variables... and she looks confused by the qns..the whole class just followed helplessly... Is she even fit to be a tutor in the first place???.. are china tutors really so substandard??? ... both the PRC lecturer and tutor just dun make the mark...guess i'd have alot to comment on them in the teaching evaluation survey....OMG... just my luck to bump into them.... esp the latter..=x...=(..

Ahh.. here comes the horror... the most hated subject has started...critical thinking and writing.. oh its worst than GP.. cant even manage a 500 word essay and now have to face a 750 words critique... 1500 words research paper..... and being grilled by a oral defence... as if training to be lawyers hor... haiz~~haiz~~ (-_-)

Do birds look where they fly? Seems so at first. But while i was walking today, i nearly got into an accident..no. .twice .... with birds!!.. They seem harmless at first flying around. .. Then, it made a U-turn and flew towards me... at waist-level.. ohhh!!... screeechh...!! E-brake!.. *phew.. lucky the bird siam out of my path in the last few metres.. cant imagine if it banged into me... will it peng?.. or... no no.. better not think it.. Time flies... 1 mth of relaxation zoomed past like 1 day... but had alot of fun tis mth ... but its nv enough though... went out .. went out.. and went out..from beach to town... playing swings to pool ...visiting animal shelter to shopping malls... from rain to shine... overall.. i can say its a funfilled period of time ba.. Oh.. and also watching tv to youtube...ahahah!! ...must 谢谢 my UNIQUE 小妹 for intro-ing those UNIQUE places.. heheh~

Wow!...cant believe i actually went to a russian restaurant for lunch.. for the first time.. introduced there by tim.. who indulges in fine dining..haha.
Er... if i m not wrong, de name is NADEZHDA (in english).. a few streets fr bugis junct.. Quite a nice place though.. its home-like, quiet, with russian backgrd music (i think), and with lots of privacy..haha..bcoz there's no one else except de few of us... wondering how they survive this biz..
But it does really look like a home.. esp de second floor..its just de size of a hall !!.. there's even a sofa and tv ... perhaps its supposed to be like that ba....since it was converted fr a shophouse..
OK.. abt de food there...nono.. cuisine ya..hmm.. i tried rdah or isit ryda.. cant rem le.. ya.. its a 2 super thin flat pieces grilled dory with mashed potatoes and a few pathetic pieces of tomatoes n cucumber... looks almost like normal western though..maybe worse ba... but de fish is quite salty lor... and the wait is long lor...ard 20 mins leh..
Of course the price is more special la...wats shocking is they even charge $1.50 for cuppa.... PLAIN WATER!!!...WAHH!!..imagine tt.... total 90++ for 5 pax ...
i guess i dun recommend gg there lor... there r other better places for food cravings... hmm.. stomach grumbling le... haha.. this Vienna International Seafood & Teppanyaki Buffet Restaurant at united square is not bad i heard..ard $30 for a mouth-watering... sumptuous interntl spread...browsing de site http://www.viennabuffet.com/welcome.asp alr so yummy le.... but havent a had a chance to savour it yet... hope to taste 'em soon...hehex..
