Making cookies

The other day I got out of a staff development early so I decided to take advantage of some twin free time! I bummed around Tuesday Morning and found some train cookie cutters I knew the boys would love. So this past Sunday I decided to make sugar cookies from scratch with the boys. They loved using the cookie cutters and of course LOVED eating them!

Oh, the places we go :)

We have been so busy spending time with our wonderful boys, that I haven't even sat down to document it all. Here is what we have been up to.

In early January, my mother in law, Bo, heard about a train show. We decided to check it out. Wow! There were so many trains and the boys were in absolute heaven!

A few weeks later, I had a day off of work, so Kevin took the day off too. We headed out to the Dallas World Aquarium! The boys really like fish right now, so of course, they had a blast!

My co-worker got season tickets to the Fort Worth Stock Show and let us use them for a day. It was so fun looking at all the animals! Afterwards, we headed over to the Children's Museum to play!

5 Year Anniversary!

Kevin and I were looking for places to go to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. I saw a Groupon for a B&B in Boerne that looked really nice, so we decided on that. We had a great 2 days away celebrating without the boys. Our moms were amazing and each stayed a night! We headed out of town the day of our anniversary. We stopped in Marble Falls and Luckenbach on our way. Once we got to Boerne, we just took it easy and went into some antique stores that were by our hotel. For dinner that night, we went to the restaurant that was below our hotel. It was amazing! The next day we went to 2 caverns. They were very cool. I have never been to a cave before, so I was just in awe! That evening we found a small restaurant near our hotel and then got frozen yogurt. Boring, I know, but we just really wanted a relaxing weekend. The next morning we headed to Fredericksburg for lunch and then home. We had a wonderful weekend!

McMoms Swim Party!

I was so excited about this years Mothers of Multiples Swim Party because the boys have really enjoyed the pool this summer. Kevin had to work, so my mom joined us for the fun. The boys were a little nervous when we got there because the pool was so big and had water spraying everywhere. We walked around it several times and would get a little closer to the spraying each time. We decided to take a break and have some dinner and then try again. When we went back, they got their courage up to try the slide. Cade went down first. During his slide he flipped onto his belly, so he got a mouthful of water at the bottom... he was done. Bryce went 3 times before hitting his head and wouldn't go down anymore. So, it was back to walking around. I think they had fun and know that next year will go even better. I only got a few pictures because we were so busy following them.

Painting with a Twist

I have been wanting to go to Painting with a Twist for so long. My mom and I decided to have a Girls Night Out. We met at Farina's Winery and had dinner. The pizza and salad there are soooo yummy! Then, we headed over to paint! I was so nervous, but it ended up being easier than I thought it was going to be.
