What have we been up to???

Surely, you have been asking yourself what have Katie and Hank been up to? Well...I decided to dedicate a post just to that! Not only to kill your curosity, but to share the wonderful knowledge we have of certain TV shows that you might not.

In order of favorite past time activities....we will begin with THE CASH CAB.

We stumbled upon this new television show following our second (to be posted below) favorite activity. It airs on the Discovery Channel....The man above drives around NYC in a taxi cab and once people get in, disco lights and a loud noise go off. This MAKES the show because watching peoples reactions is priceless!! While he drives you to your destination, he asks a series of questions ranging from $25-100 each. Three strikes you're out. You also have 2 shoutouts: a cell phone and a street. You can make over $1000 in one cab ride! Once its time to get out (assuming you made it that far), he gives you the option of doing a double or nothing video question. It is SO hilarious watching people debate this option....and its amazing watching them win!

I can always tell when this show is on tv because Hank will be laughing his heart out in the family room. It is the cutest thing that he loves this show! We are currently saving up to take a trip to NYC to FIND the CASH CAB!!!!! Watch for us on the Discovery Channel! :)

Second Favorite: THE DEADLIEST CATCH
I have not yet figured out the appeal of this show. All I know is that I can watch it for hours on end....even the same episode twice without even realizing it!!! I debate whether the appeal is the fact that these people are insane and if I were there, I would just jump into the ocean and END THE MISERY then and there. OR, could it be that I enjoy the suspense of the traps being full or completely empty? OR, do I secretly like the drama and competition that takes place between the men on the ships? OR, maybe I am enthralled with the fact that any amount of money could be worth the task? OR, perhaps I consider that it is worth the money and maybe I will look into a summer job in the Bearing Sea!

Who knows....it IRRITATES me that I love this show without knowing why. I just do.

Third Favorite: THE NEXT FOOD NETWORK STAR

Ok, so obviously Kelsey should have won this competition. She is BY FAR the best dressed, cooks the best food, and has a natural knack for the camera. But since this show is about ending racism in America, Aaron won the competition. I will not be watching his show because I have no interest in the only thing he cooked, "a rub", which doesn't even require cooking??? Oh well, he is a sweet guy and I wish him the best!

Hanks favorite: MEERKAT MANOR

This show became a favorite (for Hank) on our honeymoon. Due to the rocking effects of the boat, I found myself asleep at any given hour. Although Hank didn't necessarily appreciate this, he decided to stand by his wife and watch TV in the room. THANKFULLY, Meerkat Manor struck his interest. Apparently, these are smart little animals that have little "families" that viciously fight for survival. I think it was Cambridge University that did a study on these animals...so they film their every move..... I guess you just have to find out for yourself if it puts you to sleep or keeps your eyes peeled! :)

Thats what we have been up to! For those of you that are worried about us, give us a call. We'd love to hang out!

CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME

I have been self diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome due to excessive thank you note writing. Please be patient while I recover from this serious ailment and understand that I must postpone further writing...possibly indefinately.

I got a new LAST name!!!..and a husband!

It has been kindly brought to my attention that although I created a blog for when we were married, I stopped blogging immediately upon getting married. I sincerely apologize to those that read this, I didnt know you were out there until now! :)

It really happened. Hank and I got married on June 14th in the Las Vegas Temple. We had a beautiful reception at Silverstone Golf Course. We really want to thank everyone who came to show love and support...and ALSO those of you that thought about coming, but didnt quite make it. (Yay for good intent!)

Here are some pictures of the wedding. We dont have the professional ones yet so a few people are guaranteed to be looking anywhere BUT at the camera.

My Family

The hardest thing he has ever had to do... and the easiest thing she has ever had to do!

Grandparents

My newest family members! :) Sorry guys, I'm here to stay!

Ok, I just tried to download a video of us coming out of the temple, but I'm im not too blog savvy. However, a special thankyou is in order to Chris for filming the entire event...it saved us a couple grand!

We also want to thank Alison and Stuart for doing such a great job as flowergirl and ringbearer. They are so adorable...everyone who saw their performance is still talking about them!

And thats it!!!!

Love,

Katie and Hank Iroz
