My Baby Shower!

My good friend Aimee Sorenson was nice enough to through me a Baby Shower.  My friend Alexis Childs also helped her with it.  They did such a good job and the decorations were so cute!  It is fun to finally see a little pink in this house!  I have been really excited about having a girl and it did not seem that real until I started receiving some girl stuff!
I was spoiled and received many gifts!  Aimee made me this cute E for Ella's room.  My friend Hollie Torres is always making me laugh and she told me before she did not have time to get me a gift and she would do it later.  But she decided to give me this lovely not that says I.O.U!  She cracks me up!
Of course they had to play the game that makes me feel gigantic were they measure around my waist and guess who is the closest.  We also had that amazing nothing bundt cake I love it.  Delicious!

Quick Utah Trip

Our good friends Brady and Megan Hosley called us and asked if we wanted to see Jim Gaffigan in Utah with them.  They were pretty surprised when we said yes!  We were thinking about going to Utah for a little while anyway since we would not be out for the holidays this year.  We left the kiddos with my Parents and they loved it because they were able to spend the night with their cousins.
We loved hanging out with these guys!  The thing  I love about good friends is things pick up right were we left off and it is not ever awkward! We went out to dinner and then to Salt Lake to see Jim Gaffigan!  He is my favorite comedian!  It was worth the drive to see him we all were laughing so hard our sides hurt!  We all had a great time!

Halloween Fun

We carried on our family tradition of painting pumpkins!  We all really love doing it and the kids are getting pretty good at too!
Braxton did the bat, Corbin did the pirate zombie, Kevin did the angry bird, and I painted Mike Wazowski.
I was pretty impressed with Kevin pumpkin this year.  He actually got pretty into it and did a great job it looks very realistic!
We went to the ward trunk or treat and the kids got a lot of candy.  Kevin also joined in the fun with the pie eating contest.  He did not win but he sure made a mess of himself.
Their candy stash after a night of hard work.  They did not go out for that long and did not even make it around the block and they came home with buckets full!    The neighborhood was not that busy with trick or treaters so people were handing out a lot of candy!

Gone are the days that the boys will let me dress them up how I want to they all picked different things.  Braxton was Bobo Fett from Star Wars, Corbin was Captain Jack Sparrow, Dylan was Superman.

Big Boy Bikes

Corbin has been riding his balance bike for a while and he has loved it!  He can get going so fast on that thing and could keep up with us on our real bikes.  But we decided it was time that he learned how to pedal.  He was not so sure about it because he liked that he could do the balance bike so well.  But once he figured out he could do it he was so happy.  He never needed training wheels he went from the balance bike to the big kid bike.  Corbin you did a great job we are so proud of you.

Corbin's 5th Birthday Party!!

Pirate Party!

This year Corbin was determined to have a Pirate Party!  It was pretty fun doing all the decorations and I bought the pirate gear ahead of time so it was pretty cheap too.  These were the cute invites I sent out to all of his friends.
The Trampoline was their Ship and the balloons were cannon balls they could shoot at each other.  Captain Corbin in his costume!
These were some of his friends that came.  Upper left; Luke Lloyd, Lower left: Jack Bowler, Middle: Chris Torres ( This is Corbin's Best friend these two LOVE playing together) Upper Left; Brandson Sessions, Lower Left: Cody Cusick.
The boys had a blast walking the plank and eating their cake!

Of course Corbin loved the presents!  I think he got enough Legos!
We also planned a treasure hunt and the boys thought that was great!  The each got a bag of gold to go with their hat and sword.  Corbin also loved that his Grandma and Grandpa Baldwin were able to be at his party.  They stopped to visit on their way to California.  Corbin is a very kind loving little guy and we are so happy to have him in our family!  Happy Birthday Corbin.

Kevin 32nd Birthday

This year for Kevin's Birthday we did not do that much.  He did not want to have anyone over so we just had a low key party with just the family.  The boys love any reason we can celebrate though.
They are so excited about dad opening his presents!
Happy Birthday Kevin as you can tell you are very loved and we appreciate all you do for our family!  I hope you enjoy your chocolate peanut butter cake!

Ikea Trip!

We decided that we wanted  a girls trip!  We found out the time that would work best for all of us and we went the first of September.  Well it turned out that Rikki was going to be moving which was so sad but it was fun to be able to have one final trip together.
We drove down to California because that is the closest Ikea and we decided to stay at Hollie's Dads house.  It was so nice and it was huge! We decided that we wanted to go to the beach first and check play but it was pretty cold so we did not get in the water.  So we just sat and relaxed on the beach and enjoyed not chasing a bun of kiddos around.  I am just over 6 months pregnant in these pictures.
When we arrived at the house they had this awesome shoe chair in the foyer so we all had to pose and take a picture on it.   That night we made a yummy dinner and hung out at the house.
The next morning we went to Ikea.  We spent hours in this store and bought a van load of stuff.  I think that I spent the most but I had some expensive items to get like two dressers, two shoe cabinets and other random things I liked.   But it was a great trip with great company we all loved it!  Thanks for going girls!

First Day of School

This Year as school began we had one very excited Preschooler!  This was Corbin first year at any type of school.  We sent him to Mirabellis Preschool.  He goes two days a week for 3 hours on Tuesday & Thursday.  He was so excited to go and be a big kid I was a little worried how he would do but he loved it!
The best part is that he has this big group of boys to go with.  These are all the boys his age in our ward we all took them here and they love it because they have so many friends.
Upper left: Luke Loyd, Jack Bowler, Mossimo Pesci,
Bottom Right: Luke Chris Torres, Corbin, Jack, and Mossimo
Upper Right: Corbin and Chris these two are best buddies and that is who we car pool with all the time!  They are so cute together and play so well!  I just love them.
Bottom Right: Mossimo, Jack, Stella Smith, Chris & Corbin. Stella was the only girl in the group and she moved shortly after school started!  We miss time we love the Smith family.
Braxton was not that excited to start school this year.  He was happy he was going back and would be able to see his friends and his teacher he just did not want to be there all day.  He was very fortunate though because his teacher from 1st grade decided to go up to 2nd grade.  Mrs. Kuwata is a great teacher so we were happy to have her again the second year.  Plus he had almost all the same kids in his class so he liked that as well.  When I asked him how school was at the end of the day he told me it was sooo Long mom!
Last year I started the tradition of getting a Monster Cookie after your first day of school so of course we had to do it again this year and the kiddos loved it!   They wanted to be little monsters to go along with their cookie.  Dylan had to copy them too and get in on the action!

The Mandalay Bay Shark Reef

Kirk and Lindy came out for a quick visit before they went to California for a farmers convention.  It was so fun to hang out with them and of course the kiddos loved it!   One of the days we decided to go check out the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay.  It is pretty neat and the boys loved seeing all the fun Fish.

Of course they had to check out the gift shop at the end!

Cute Boys

There are a lot of times these little cuties drive me CRAZY!  But it is hard to resist a cute face like that.  Dylan has some of the funniest facial excpression we all just laugh at him all the time.  He is very animated!
Kevin staff gave him a super hero cape because they are always surprised at how much he can get done and things he remembers.  Dylan decided it would be fun to take a pudding bath instead of eating it.
Corbin is such a character!  He is so loving and I love how he likes to dress up!  I love the boots and the hat this kid make me laugh all the time.
Cleaning out the phone I could not help but post these cute pictures.

Blue Man Group!

One the things we love about living in Las Vegas is that if Kevin and I want to go out and do a fun date we can.  We decided we would go to see the Blue Man Group.  It was fun to go see I think it is a show my boys would of liked there is are some silly parts in it they would of thought were hilarious. I just thought it was a little gross.  But it also had a lot of good music and fun things too.
The best part was being able to just spend a great time with my hubby!
They had this weird giant floating eye around the audience.  At the end they released all these balls and streamers.  It was a great night thanks for taking me out Kevin.

Camping at Duck creek

We decided that we wanted to go camping for Labor day weekend. We invited Kirk and Lindy to come with us so we met in Utah to go camping we went a campground just above Ceder called Duck Creek Campground.  It was a lot of fun spending time with everyone.  As a surprise Jaxton and Khole were able to come as well.  The kids had so much fun playing together.
They all had a lot of fun shooting the BB Guns and set up a little area where they could shoot cans and bottles.  Everyone had a lot of fun going on little walks down to the pond and around the campground.  I was 6 months pregnant so I took it pretty easy this trip but it was still pretty fun.
Braxton was dying to go on a REAL hike.   So Brian, Kevin and Kirk went on a longer hike and they all really enjoyed it.  Braxton thought it was so neat he was one of the big kids!  He loved going in the cave to.
All of us on the hike.  Well except for me.  It was a great trip and we were glad that we all could make it!

Happy Fathers Day!

I know this is a little late but I forgot to post these pictures and the boys look so cute so I could not help it!
I took these pictures for Kevin's Fathers day present and then I framed them with a sign that said I want to follow in your footsteps!  It turned out really cute and Kevin liked it a lot and has it in his office.
I took these pictures for Grandpa's Fathers day card! They were being so cute I could not help but post it!  I love these boys they are so fun most of the time!  I love the amazing men we were honoring that day they are all so important in our lives I don't know what we would do with out them.  Happy Fathers day!
