Winter Boredom

Is it just me or is everyone else sick of winter! It gets so cold here it is not even very fun to go out and play in the snow. I feel like I am freezing to death, granted it is warmer then it was a couple of weeks ago when it was -12 degrees but still it is tooo cold! So poor Braxton (and mommy) get stuck being in the house most of the time! The good things is he got spoiled for Christmas so that does keep him some what entertained. He loves playing with his cars! I have been trying to do some fun educational things with him like the Caterpillar craft we made below. I found a couple of blogs that have some really good ideas on things to do with little kids (there links are below under my fun blog list). That is were I got the idea for the Caterpillar, Braxton loved doing it he thought it was so fun to color it and to play with the glue, he loved putting on the fuzzy balls! Braxton loves to line his cars up all over the place! He will organize them into separate categories it is so cute! As you can tell in this pictures he has lined them up on all the edges of the counters!
Cute little guy stole Kevin's hat! He does like to pose for the camera now though. He will say cheese and then it is let me see let me see!
The funny thing is I can not get this kid to keep a hat on, I wish he would were some every now and then!

I don't think he has enough toys! The sad thing is this is only part of them!

Happy Birthday Amanda

Well I am getting pretty old now I am 26 yrs old. The night before my birthday we had some friends come over and played games. It was kinda nice because a lot of times we don't play games when we get together we end up talking which is fun too but it was fun to play games. We had cake and Ice cream Kevin made me the cake I was pretty impressed. On my birthday Kevin and Braxton surprised me with breakfast in bed. We then went to church and I took a great nap, I love naps! Later I got to open my presents, I got some great things like a program for my cricket that I can edit things on the computer before I print them. I also got the only book I did not have in the twilight series so now I have a complete set. I got some warm boots I wanted that are way cute. I also got the movie A Walk To Remember and the sound track, I watched the other day on T.V. and I remembered how much I love the sound track to that movie so I was excited! We get to go out to dinner tonight at the olive garden so that will be fun! Kevin is pretty nice boy and he spoils me! Thanks Kevin for all your hard work I love you!

 

 

 

 

Back home for christmas

It was so nice to be able to go home for christmas! We had a great time! We were in Utah for 2 1/2 weeks which gave us time to catch up with most of our friends! We still missed seeing some but we love you and miss you all! Here is a video of some of the things we were able to do! It is actually getting easier to leave, I am getting used to being gone. But we still love Utah and hope to go back there! Thanks everyone for the great visit! We love you!
