Halloween 2011

Halloween has come and gone...is it really November today???  This is what we've done the last couple of days.

Carved pumpkins.  These are Kyle's (notice the glasses)
These are Anna's
Got dressed up as a witch, monkey and Jedi.
Went to the Trunk-or-treat at church
Learned about Lollipops
Went trick-or-treating in the neighborhood...Colin was so excited he wouldn't stop for a picture
Finally enjoying a Lollipop.
All the kids had fun but Colin was the most excited about everything.  He went trick or treating for just a few houses and then he came home to help me hand out candy.  Every time we opened the door he would shout "Happy Halloween, Have Fun, Bye Bye"  in two year old talk.  He was a hit with all the neighbors.

Anna's class party

Anna's class party was perfect....four stations, four kids in each group, and plenty of parents to help keep the chaos to a minimum.

Station 1:  Decorate a cupcake (Do you see Colin's hand (orange sleeve) about to grab for someones cupcake?...yeah, not so funny)
Station 2:  Playing carpet games
Station 3:  Making Lollipop ghosts
Station 4:  Eat your cupcake.
One of the other moms was nice enough to let Colin have a cupcake too...he licked it for 20 minutes straight.

walk-a-thon

The kids participated in their schools walk-a-thon and had a great time.  First they walked around the school 9 and 10 times respectfully and then we all enjoyed a little carnival in the field.  They had fun and that's all that matters.

Wearing all the awesome stuff they got for finishing each lap
Painted faces and balloon art
Colin enjoying the real reason we stayed for the carnival....Cotton candy.
Popping bubbles with friends from class.
