Colin's new quilt

So I made Colin a quilt.  He absolutely loves it more than anything in the world..at least that's what I tell myself.

Go Kart Fun!!!

Kyle went to a birthday party where all the kids got to drive go-karts.  It would be an understatement to say that he was excited.  He had a blast and is still talking about it days later!!!

New accessory for baby Colin

Colin got a helmet this week....he doesn't seem to mind at all, even when sleeping.  He is still his happy, cute little self.  Soon he'll be a happy, cute, round headed little self.   

I think I'm a quilter...

I finished my second quilt, but it's my first "I did everything absolutely by myself" quilt.  I learn a couple of things doing this quilt 1.  I really like hand quilting and 2. that I really hate binding.  I had so much trouble with it this time....I think maybe the strips were too narrow, anyway something to figure out on my next one....I can't wait.

Can you tell that I picked the fabric out during the cold and gloominess of winter?  Pretty sure I wanted something bright and colorful to look at....and it sure it!!

My budding artist

Kyle has decided that he wants to be an artists when he grows up.  To prepare for this he is drawing every charactor from all his favorite movies and hanging them on his bedroom walls.

His walls ran out of room...He hung about 80 pictures up.  We decided to put them all in a book to keep for a very long time.  I love how he sound spelled all the names so many aren't spelled right, but I think it makes me like them even more that way.
