March 2016

March was kind of a hodge-podge of different activities so I thought I'd just share all the different things we did.

Just a random cute picture of the kids doing dog pile on daddy :)

I love Claire's face in this picture

Malea decided to do a "Stuffed Animal" sale to save up for our April Disneyland trip!

How cute is she?!?

I'm not usually one to make a big deal about St. Patrick's Day but I decided to do something different this year and have a special breakfast for when the kids woke up in the morning.

The kids helped me make green pancakes and green eggs for breakfast

Love these four!!

Malea has been dying to ride a horse for years!  The kids had a day off from school and our friend's the Dinkel's invited us down to spend the day.  They let the kids take a ride on their horse Merlin!  It was a dream come true for her!

Bunny hats from the mall!  Just in time for.....

Our new bunny!!!  We named her Pepper.  We thought it would be fun to give the kids a bunny as an early Easter present.  They love her!

Pepper's new home!

That evening we went to Grandpa Dave's house and he took the kids on a wagon ride :)

Malea's Baptism Day

At the beginning of March, Malea made the decision to be baptized as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints.  Her baptism was a really special day and we are so proud of her!

Malea's Daddy baptized her :)

Lots of people came to support her on her big day.  Grandma Dub gave a really good talk on baptism and the Holy Ghost

After the baptism we had everyone over to the house for a luncheon

Grandma Vicki made her beautiful baptism dress!

Opening some gifts people gave her.  We gave Malea her first set of scriptures with her name engraved on them

Malea with her bestie Sarah, who came to her baptism

At church the next day, Malea was super brave and got up in sacrament to bare her testimony without any prompting.  I was so proud of her!

It was so nice of Grandma & Grandpa Dub to come all the way down for her baptism!
