Zaffron's Kitchen
Mummy had always wanted to bring us to this Indian restaurant as she heard about the food and a small play area for us. The trendy style restaurant serves a good mix of North, South and local Indian favourites, with dishes such as Prata, Naan, Masala, Butter Chicken and Tandoori Mixed Grill. Something different from the chinese food that we always have and we actually like it!

表姨's wedding
This is our 2nd wedding dinner that we get to attend together. The last one which was another 表姨's wedding 3 yrs+ back was a disaster. Since then Mummy had never bring us for wedding dinners together anymore. I guess we don't have to explain much why it is so.
Nevertheless we had proven quite well that we are able to handle such functions well at our age now. We could address people, eat on our own, entertain ourselves and not bug Daddy/Mummy. We were even spontaneous enough for some fun instant photoshoot. However we won't get to follow for the next wedding dinner in Dec. Mummy said it's Nee's turn, we'll have to take turns. So then we'll be creating havoc with Aunty at home.
Oh yes, did we mention that Reyden was the bridal car boy this morning?
Nee's 6 months bash
Mummy's post:
The Mar 12 mummies decided to do a 6 months' bash instead of 1 yr as many would probably have their own parties going on during that time.
This bash took quite abit of effort to get things done as there were the attire, cupcakes, venue, food and goodies bags. I contributed to the sourcing of the Mickey/Minnie rompers and sponsored some of the goodies in the goodies bags for the elder kids.
I wouldn't say Nee had fun cos she was half cranky and half hungry (totally distracted to finish her lunch) but it was a good exposure and nice to meet many new mummies. Reyes was with us too and she did played quite abit with the younger kids. I find her a good helper to bring along. She could help to carry things and pacify the Meimei at times.

Nee's pearlies at 6.5mth
Mummy's post:
Meimei's 2 mini white pearlies are sprouting! That was probably the cause of her "tantrums" weeks back. Now that her bottom incisors are out, she's happy once again. Till the next tooth cuts ...
On top of her pearlies, she has been making much development in terms of her motor skills and eating "skills". She can now sit on her own for a long while before losing concentration and falling off. She will raise up her butt, front body on a crawling position and ... move backwards. Haha!! She can finally move forward in her walker too.
As for her meals, we had "upgraded" from cereal to porridge, reason being she doesn't seem to fancy cereal. It's a chore feeding her cereal. With cereal she will gag, spit out, blow blubbles and etc ... but she doesn't do that with porridge. Therefore we switched to pork, fish porridge for her dinner since last week.
Her food menu variety has expanded fast too. She had tried sweet potato, potato, carrot, pumpkin, spinach for veg; apples, pears, dragonfruits, avocado, banana, papaya for fruits; bread, biscuits for her teabreak. And the texture for her food is no longer mashy or very "pureed". She can handle chunky bits of fruits, veg. We give her pieces of bread and biscuits to "bite" as well. I would say she's a pretty good eater (only for food she likes). Let's hope she continues this way. :)
