Sunday, September 23, 2012SG Miku (After Thoughts)Had this idea in mind since last November, but she has been sitting on my shelf (almost 10 months) due to my laziness.Lets start with the nendoroid! Goodsmile company produced this version of Hatsune Miku early 2012 (Miku Hatsune: Absolute HMO Edition) I personally think this is the cutest version of Miku series Nendroid out there yet! Tons of accessories and good pose-ability! Only down side for me would be her sunglasses, does not seem to fit in the right slot, but this could be happening just to me =\ IPhone camera... I should get a better camera.. Although my IPhone takes decent pictures (IMO), it falls short in lots of aspects. Firstly the color seems to turn out slightly greenish (esp the black and grey shades). Secondly, noise on the photo is noticeable. I'm no camera expert so please do suggest how i can overcome this on the IPhone (if possible~). The pictures are hosted on Photobucket, I'm amazed at the amount of editing you can do over there (but then again i may have been living in a cave). For now I've been satisfied with the experience of editing the photos, wished there were more borders, stickers and effects, but i know that's just me being greedy =P (they already have tons of them available). Painting her has been fun, he hair posed as a problem, had to dismantle it, I even broke the sharp corner off accidentally... but nothing super glue, pins and putty cant solve. The gloss paint was another nightmare. I used gloss for her clothing and paint just seem to stain, smudge or come off more easily when glossy surface is used... Note i do use primer and clear gloss.. (Please advise =\ ) Some repainting and fixing had to be done. Finally i hope you liked it and i hope that I'll come up with something soon~ Singapore themed Hatsune Miku !
