Samal island mission trip (14 - 21 May 2010)

Hi . . . everyone one . . .

i dint update my blog for 2 months!

mmm... is not easy to write a blog . . . especially express it in sentences . . . trust me...

is not easy. . . haiz... ^^ but try my best lo . ..

I learnt a lot of things during things mission trip and serve The Lord together with a wonderful team . . .

(Bro Tom, Jacs,Tommy,Cyndia, Ashley, Xavier, Peter,Joseph Ng, Jason)

Here are some backgroud in samal island:

The people in samal island are very poor,their dun have a proper house, their house are like our orang asli house, made from wood and bamboos... in the jungle, on the hill . .. need to walk if we want go visit them(go up-go down the hill, with muddy road)

They eat very simple meal, sometime they might have 1 meal per day, a bowl of rice with small portion of fish . . .not like us, have 2-3 dishes, or we may choose wat we want to eat . . .

The student need to walk few KM to school .. some of them need to take public transport to school (motorcycle - can fit up to 4 persons) if they don't have money on that day, they cant go to school. . .

1) Always give thanks on what we have, don't ever compare with others on what we don't have . . . don't murmur lo . .

2) Always be flexible. don't be 'square' or depend too much on methods. Methods will pass away or be outdated or be come routine . .

let us depend on Holy Spirit- more advance , will not out dated,keep us moving forward . . 1st hand source . .

(Wah! last minutes ask me to lead a bible study . . . , ask me to pray for few young pretty girls during svc ^.^ prepare sharing during visitation,replace someone for morning devotion at 5am . . .etc . .)

3) Heart matter - be pure toward Jesus, worship with since heart, not influence by the surrounding (hot, sweats,dust, no air-con etc) , even the sound system and music instruments are not in good condition yet still can worship Jesus

4) Heart of a servant - Always do things that related to people, be ready to serve anyway, anytime, all season, in and out (mmm . . . learning, want to go another level of serving) haa . . .

5) If want to go mission, must go longer, so we able to help and do more 4 Jesus . . What we be taught, learnt release it to bless others - don't keep 4 ur self. . . haa

When things go smooth and good, or we are happy . . .

it's easy to say:

'i have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back'

without any struggle . . . fear. . .

But . . .

when things don't go smoothly, we face some hardships, troubles . . .

Am i still trust God?
Will i give out?

Still able to say:

'I have decided to for Jesus . . . no turning back'

Mission training @ mission trip . . .

It's already 1 month.. i didnt update my blog ... WAH!!


So many things are going on .. mission training..

mmm...mission training is great!! thank you Jesus . .





for the great things YOU have done in this group of young people life . . .

Just now my sis ask me to accompany her for dinner... at 1st i rejected her coz im very3 the tired.. (just came back frm mission training) haa.. after a short while, i bring her for dinner.. coz i hv onli 1 sis.. and 1 God...

my sis seek advice frm me regarding her student exchange program to us, about wat to buy, and wat to bring . . .

Suddenly, she ask me about King's david in the bible.. aik.. this suprise me... wow (she dun want to mention about God, or the bible thingy..) . . . i started to say, 'you got read that bible tat i brought 4 u?' (brought 4 her 1 year ago) my sis answered, yup, 1 king...'

then i started to share to her about king david, saul, solomon... (their life, backgroud, what we can apply frm here to our daily life) she keep asking and asking, want to noe more . . . hmmm

It's a good start, may my sis really encounter with Jesus! thank Jesus, 4 a wonderful sister . . .

Don't lose the heavenly vision and passion . . .

(Phi 3:12) I don't mean to say that i have already archieve these things or i have already reached perfection! but keep working toward that day when i will finally be all that Christ Jesus saved for and want me to do . . .

Found something in this bible verse . . . we may learn from Paul's life . . .

• Know our purpose, destiny and God's calling in our life . . . go for it!
• Seek The Lord 1st, as we move on, God will reveal it to us through ppl, cicumstances, etcs..
• Don't give up no matter what happen . . . mmm.. tis is interesting . .
• Always improve and change when we r wrong in order to move forward . .
• There are eternal value during fulfilling God's will in our life . .

last sunday..whole day

mmm. . . didnt update my journal for 2 weeks.. haa..

Last week FGCC bro and sis have concert at our church. im glad to serve the Lord together with them. . . some of our bro n sis aso came to this concert.. just summerize it . . .

im hungry at sunday evening coz nt yt have my dinner yet, only a nasi lemak during my lunch.. haa.. it was a whole day 4 me frm morning.. someone brought me mee bakso.. im so touched! thank you Jesus! for sending someone to feed me.. haa..i cant go anyway coz need2 jaga the sound system..

Give the best to others..

This morning i received a love offering.. dont know who gave it to me.. i was very excited coz wonder this amount of money may use it to cover my new shoe cost.. haa..
(brought a new balance shoe yesterday at ioi mall) =)

This evening, visit a young boy,wanna hv dinner then went to main sanctuary and pray together...he looks down and troubled... haa wonder to eat what 4 dinner (haiya.. everytime need2 think bout this) .. strawberry, kfc, mcd, hawker stall, old town.. etc.. there is a covinction in my heart... give the best to others.. then i suggest we go to victoria station.. yeah!!1 cool!!

We had a wonderful time together during dinner and prayer..into His presence encouraging and building up..

The young boy asked "why you bring me to VS? is very expensive!" then i answered,
"if i wanna to give, then i should give the best! u may impact many others lives one day! maybe few thousand..childrens.. youths!

It's more blessed to give rather than just receive only.. ")
