May 2015

I was told yesterday that I have not blogged in along time..  so, Bonnie this is just for you.  :)  My boys are getting so big, this first picture is of them helping install our wood floors..
This picture is when Robbie was going in for his Eagle Scout interview.  I can't believe it was a year ago.  How time flies..

Here is Robbie on our way to the Ogden Temple open house

Sid on our way to the open house of the Ogden Temple

This picture is the three of us on the way home (hence Sid changed, silly boy)

There has been so much happen since we moved back from Wyoming.  Nov. 4, 2014 my grandma Hansen passed away.  Then on Dec. 20, 2014 my grandpa Hansen passed away.  It was a strange two months.  From the time they passed Life took a whirl wind adventure.  I never knew how much there was to do when someone passed away.  Banking, bills, insurance, life insurance, social security, cleaning the farm, selling the farm, driving back and forth weekly to turn on water, paper work, paper work, paper work...    Then on top of all of that Jack my mom's second husband passed away in Feb. That has been an interesting thing also.
Now, let's see...  at our home in between dealing with the farm stuff we have made garden beds, we have a spot ready for a shed (just needing help with the cement) we have been busy in church callings, we do school, Robbie started driving..  Life never is dull at our house.  :)  We hope this finds you all well.

Last day of November

I can not believe it has been over a year since I posted.  We have had so many things change that I don't even know where to begin.   We bought us a house, we closed Dec. 23, 2014..  The house was a fixer upper, so we have spent the last year fixing it up.

Sid turned 10 in May I can't believe how big he is getting..  Since we were back in Utah he wanted a cousin birthday party, so off to Chuck E Cheese we went.  :)

In August Kennen was in a rollover accident, It was a very hard month for us.  He was banged up and bruised and really sore.  However, he was alive!!!  That we are so very thankful for.  Heavenly Father watched over him.

How we are blessed!!!

A week after the accident Kennen had to go in for emergency surgery.  How our month of August was crazy!

In October Robbie turned 15.  I can't believe my baby has a learners permit..  yikes!  When did I get old?????

November....  On the 4th of November Heaven gained an angel.  My grandma passed away..  How I know that it was for the best and that she is no longer in pain, it still makes my heart sad.  She was reunited with my dad her only child after almost 15 years of being apart.  I know it was a happy reunion.

While being back in Utah we have been able to spend time with family and friends.  We were able to go to St. George and watch the plays down there.  We are loving the weather, missing our Wyoming friends a lot.  One day, we will make friends here...  It is our goal.  :)

move, move, move

oh my!!!!!   how life has taken us in a different direction...
March 2013 we had some people ask us to buy our house. Our house was not for sale, we prayed about it, talked about it and decided to sell.. two weeks later we closed and had to find a rental, Heavenly Father provided and ww found one in Casper (which at the time had no rentals) it is amazing how Heavenly Father provides when you are faithful and follow His plan. Well our life took another turn on July 31,2013. Kennen got a transfer to Moab Utah, once again there was no rentals. We lived in a campground in a 24 foot camp trailer for two months. Had a GREAT time exploring the area. We went to the Arches, Goblin Valley, Dead Horse Point, Canyonlands, went canooing on the Colorado River and Oowaha Lake. It was a fun experience. On Oct. 5 2013, we moved once again. This time to a rental in Richfield Utah. So, here we are...  hanging in Richfield, trying to adjust to this new town and their new thinking.  The boys are missing their friends as i am also. However, we are loving the weather!!!   Been able to enjoy family being back in Utah. Anyway, here is a short summary of our lives.

WE WON!!!!!

Have you ever entered a drawing?  We have entered a lot and never have won a thing..   well....   Greiner Ford here in Casper had a drawing for a car...  It started on black Friday and you could enter once a day as they were giving away three cars...   So we went Friday and entered,  we went Saturday and entered...  Then Sunday after church we were going home to change clothes then go and enter for the Sunday drawing.  When we got home there was a message on the phone.  "Hi, this is Tom from Greiner Ford...  Holly you won the car in the drawing for Saturday.  Please call me back"  I screamed really loud the boys thought I had gone crazy...   I called him back, we went down to the Ford dealer to see what we had won...  We had won a Buick Century.  WOOT!!!  WOOT!!!    It was such a fun thing, and now I know that people really do win things.  :)     Thank you Greiner Ford!!!!
