Back log

I'm sorry folks I've left you high and dry for some time...but I'm back.
Let's recap a few things...
1) Went on a date with Larry last Thursday and had a blast. I'm thinking it was only one way since I haven't heard back from him. :(
2) Friday Mike and I drove to Huntington Beach for a mid-singles conference. I met up with Megan and Allison, yes the same crazy two I was in Mexico with.
3) Had a blast at the pool, eating, laughing, we danced a lot, played Rock Band and listened to lots of snoring as well as Aaron Neville's greatest hits :) during the weekend
4) Yesterday I find out that the man that was going to take in Deuce, one of my dogs ,changed his mind at the last minute, I have to be out of my house by tomorrow. Thaks a lot J/A!
5) Had a mini melt down at mom and dad's last night but hey that's to be expected right?
Future Events
6) Packing up the big stuff tonight and taking it to Sacramento.
7) Taking Sandy to her foster home for a few months at Holly's
8) I do my walk-thru of my new condo tomorrow morning at 8am.
9) Sacramento Half Marathon this Saturday
10) Celebrating LaMar's aka Dad birthday this weekend.

I have a few things to get off my chest

First, tonight...we were asked to make some out-bound calls with the Sales staff to invite folks for our grand opening of our rec center. All the offices were being used so they had me in the copy room. There were multiple sales reps that came in to make copies of contracts, grab thank you letters, etc. After I called for 90 min I was done! I was so pissed that I'm there out of the goodness of my heart to "help" them with their calls and those guys weren't even calling. URGH! I was so out of there! It's like the mish...people can hear in your voice when your ticked or plain and simple not happy.
Second, more funny than venting. So I got my hair cut and colored today. Love it! She said okay that will be $75 and I gave her the $$$ and said there's a 100 here. Thinking okay she'll give me change instantly for the remaining $25 and then I was going to give her a tip from that. Well she didn't say that. She said oh Kellie thank you so much...you must really like your hair. I caught on real quick and said oh, yeah you're welcome. (I actually laughed at myself for that one)
Third, I came home from work tonight and got my mail. I always hear a clank when I do since my spare key is in my mailbox for the folks that watch my house or come by to feed my dogs when I'm in need. Well...no noise...no key. To say the least I dragged Sandy through the house to make sure we didn't have any surprise visitors. My heart was pounding BIGTIME!! Doubt I'll be getting any sleep the next few weeks. Where is that damn key!

Busy Bee

Crazy busy weekend! Saturday started at 5:30am to get up and dressed to meet Mike so we could switch cars. I came home and loaded his truck up with all my stuff to take to my parents' house. I then met Floyd at Home Depot at 8:00 and "found" Nato and Cesar, our day helpers. We then drove to Folsom and met up with Danny and Shawn. Then we drove to my parents' to unload the truck. Then went back to Folsom and grabbed lunch for the workers and us and were assisting them. It consisted of shoveling gravel, bark, weed, dig holes and etc. I took a shower and headed back to the Central Valley.
Sunday consisted of a early morning running, had to get my 9 miles in before it got too hot. Then church. I came home and got my suit on and did some serious back yard work, mowed, weed whacking, packing, broke down both my beds and put them in the 3rd bedroom and got everything out of the 2nd bedroom and did four loads of laundry. My house was 83 degrees inside and I had to actually turn on my AC, in April, to sleep. I need about 2 hrs more sleep, my body is tired!

Open Escrow!!

It's official, I'm growing up. I signed my purchase agreement papers over the weekend and as of today escrow is open for my new condo in Folsom, CA. Eeeekkkk!

I heart these girls

This is my posse from back in the VSP days. Some of us still work there and some of us have moved on. Still after almost two years of our separation we still try to get together once a month and have dinner. They've even come to Manteca! That's how much we love each other!!
