Welcome to the Keller Family Blog!
This is the blog for our family and our homeschool, The Keller Academy. I hope you enjoy it. I'm happy to share updates with others. However, my real reason for creating this blog is for our family. I am hoping this blog will provide us an online scrapbook of our successes and failures, struggles and accomplishments, joys and sorrows. My prayer for our homeschool, is that it will be a place of love and encouragement and above all else, a place where we are transformed by the renewing of our minds by growing in our knowledge of our wonderful savior, Jesus Christ.

- I'm just a mom who has been blessed beyond my wildest imagination. My husband, Tim, is the most amazing husband and father in the world. My four little boys are a joy. I love watching them grow and learn. I'm fortunate to be able to stay home with them to make our house a home. And now, I'm living my dream. I'm not just their mommy, but I'm their teacher, too. My prayer is that God will be glorified in all that I do and all that I am. Thank you God for allowing me to teach, disciple and nurture your children!
Tim Keller
The Principal of The Keller Academy
Tim Keller has been serving as Principal for The Keller Academy since 2008. His duties include oversight of curriculum, instruction and discipline. Tim is a hands-on principal and father, with a passion for teaching the boys Bible and Science. Tim's hobbies include reading, late night movies with his friends, household chores and playing Wii. Tim has been married to Lisa since 1997 and they have four sons. Tim also works for the Institute for Justice, Arizona Chapter.

Meet the four stellar students of Keller Academy. Daniel is 12 1/2 and a seventh grader. Benjamin is 10 1/2 and in fifth grade. Ethan is 8 and is in third grade and Noah is 6 and loves being a first grader!

Why Homeschool?
We've gotten this question a lot. So, I thought I'd answer it here! Tim and I came up with four reasons for our family to adventure into homeschooling. Here they are:
1. To provide our children with a Christ-centered education.
2. To promote family unity and brotherly bonding.
3. To give our children a superior education focusing on character development.
4. To simplify our lives.
My prayer is that we will never homeschool our children out of fear or a desire to shelter them. I hope that we can build in them strong character and values so that they will be salt and light to a needy world.
