We had a party for New year's it was pretty low key. There was a lot of Guitar Hero and food and even a movie. The kids tossed the confetti and it went everywhere. Not a bad way to spend the night.

Darrin At 33 Years

As usual, Darrin had a small uneventful birthday. He opened a few gifts from us and that was about it. We just spent the evening as a family and that was nice.

Eathan is 9 Years Old!

I can't believe that E is so old! 9 seems like such a big kid. He is however, getting closer to be a built in babysitter.
E: "I'm pretty much a teenager."
Mom: "Really, how do you figure that?"
E: "Well I'm almost 10 and 10 is almost a teenager, so pretty much I am one."

E wanted this gun sooo bad. He would ask for it several times a day. He stared to sound like the kid from A Christmas Story asking for a Red Rider BB gun. Grandma came through in the end and he was so happy!

After he opened his gifts we drove up to Logan to see Kelsie and Devin, it took the whole day and E was not happy that he had to spend his birthday in the car. So we had a party the next day at Preston's

Christmas!

Christmas was in Price this year. Everyone was able to get there! Colette and Mike opened their home to the whole crew and had an awesome Christmas Eve party. We had a great dinner and then a program and then we had some presents for the grand kids. What a full house - what fun! 40 people in all! See what having 8 kids will do for ya?

We had dinner in the garage - it worked well.

Kelsie brought all of the kids the demo phones from Best Buy. I think that this was the best gift any of them got!! Every last one of them went nuts!! Way to go Kelsie - you are the new favorite aunt.

After the Santa gifts we all went back to the Marx's froa yummy breakfast. I think that everyone stayed in their jammies until around 2 or so. It was very relaxing.

This year I expanded our Jammie tradition to include Darrin and I. BK got a pretty good laugh at DK's Jammie's. He gave them to Joan when we left. he was a good sport to wear them for me though. BK picked out his own Christmas Jammie's and I think DK will in the future.
